you know i'd be there of course

btw selling stuff is >>>> than charging an entry fee. you make money both ways without alienating people who hate paying entry fees (me). good ****.

though you can also charge an entry fee to those who don't bring setups. also good.

yeah, that's what I'm planning. thanks for the support guys. I'll be convincing my parents to buy more chairs and possibly some tables so there's a legitimate reason as to why I'm charging a venue fee. Don't worry, it won't be ridiculous either, only $1-2 per person.

make dat ish melee every biweekly

there are brawl tournaments every week.

just start making it brawl when the melee community starts flopping and flaking again and following mango

I'll do brawl everyone once in forever but I think Melee is set in stone. This sounds like it'll be a pretty good series aslong as everyone cool comes and there's enough set ups.

i don't think exempting people from a setup fee if they bring a setup is nazi-ish

should be pretty standard imo

that's not what i'm saying.
i'm saying how would you figure out who pays 1$ and who'll pay 2$

i musta read it wrong or something, but without editing OP i realized he probably meant 1 or 2$

Steven, where'd you get that from? almost every tournament does that, does it not? It's a good way to get people to bring set ups.

edit: oh, no, it's $2 for everyone.

just to make this clear, the venue fee is $2 for everyone! I wouldn't be a ***** and charge someone more than other people -___-

third strike is like a cancerous cyst feasting upon the supple flesh of every single smash event

and what a lovely cyst it is
