Hi there. Not a Diddy Kong main, but my practice partner -thrillagorilla- is, and I consistently have the most trouble dealing with Diddy Kong. I'm put this thread here because I other than a few mistakes on my part, I don't think the Fox boards are going to be entirely helpful to me for this. What I believe my problem is has something to do with not knowing Diddy Kongs weaknesses that well. As Diddy Kong players, you'd know what your own trouble spots are, and are in a much better position to point them out than the Fox boards. I want to be able to put up a decent fight against Diddy, I know I can, so I'm appealing to all you Diddy players in the other camp for your advice.

I watched the first one. I'm not a great diddy player, but heres my advice. Whenever you can tell he's about to throw out a banana, always try to steal the first one. Get better at use bananas against him!!! From my view, whenever someone grabs one of my nanas, i'm confident in my ability to shield bounce it if they throw it directly, so try not to do that and wait for openings.

Also, I saw you fall directly from the sky and trip on a nana. Press r or anyone attack I think to grab it. I'm sure you already knew that so just practice it. And if fox has a glide toss(idk) use.

lolz fox. For one you shouldnt ever want to play diddy on fd or sv as fox. Its pretty much a free win for diddy unless he sucks. Once diddy gets over 100% usmash,usmash,usmash dont waste time doing fsmashes or grabs when you can get a usmash off
