So the point was grab releasing anyone but Ness/Lucas with Olimar is cheap? Releasing Wario with Yoshi, that's some f*cked up sh*t, because Wario can do jack about it. But how is this cheap, they can defend themselves. If anything Olimar's grab combo's would be cheaper because you can't avoid them. This is basically just screwing with your opponent.

I personally tend to throw around the terms "grab release" and "chaingrabbing". I refer to Olimar's Dthrow-fair combo at early percents a chaingrab, even if the official definition doesn't classify it as so. What I'm trying to make clear is that when someone breaks out of Olimar's grab, there are a lot of ways to punish an opponent if they don't react correctly. The key phrase there is if they don't react correctly. I'm honestly surprised people view this as cheap. EVERY character has access to this. Yes, some more than others (bowser, dk, and marth have been mentioned) but the point is, every character can do things out of a grab release to some extent. It's really helped my game a lot.
I was just trying to point out to Olimarfan that all those guys he mentioned that don't use grab releases don't use them because their character doesn't have any sure followups to it. Otherwise 10 bucks says they would.

I don't get your post. Grab releasing everyone (besides Ness/Lucas) using Oli is cheap. Why is that? Whats so special about Ness/Lucas with Olimar anyways?

I believe he is referring to Marth grabbing Ness/Lucas repeatedly.
He also thinks grabbing Wario with Yoshi is cheap because you 'can't do squat about it'. This is partially true, as it may be hard (kinda) to be grabbed by yoshi, but once Wario does, he can eat any attack yoshi has.

However, people doing stuff like... ESCAPABLE infinate on Olimar with Bowser? That is ok because you can escape it.

I'd have to agree, minus the Wario part.
Ban infinates (See:Unescabale)

I assumes that Olimar had some grab release mojo on Ness, seeing as everyone else does.

And I don't think the Wario release attacks/infinites are cheap. I just think it's f*cking stupid that they exist. But to quote someone: 'Cheap is just a scrubs way of calling something efficient'.

Most characters have a grab release setup on Ness. That's not cheap. It's a part of his character. Our bad recovery and lack of grab armor are some things we have to deal with. They're parts of Olimar. Is it cheap for people to exploit those? No.
