Geez, what have I been missing?

Just saying... I love HMW's commentary lol. And... I also love hyped matches. Hyped matches are my favorite to watch, even if the 2 players aren't top level players.

LOOOL exactly what I thought when I went into the Brawl room at apex. No offense to brawl...

There was that Brawl tourney in Paris which was the biggest European Brawl tournament ever, and Ally went to it. It was the first time a top North American player (in any smash game) went to Europe to play in an event. And when he got to Grand Finals he faced Glutonny, Europe's top player, and all I can tell you is that every SINGLE hit that Glutonny got on Ally people would go "OMG!!! ARHGHGHARH!". I don't think anyone was faking anything but rather that every single hit meant one step closer to Europe winning the event.

Hype is awesome and should always be part of tournaments. It's one of the reasons I love smash.

Oh and also, the hype behind Hack ****** people with Kirby at BEAST was AMAZING too. xD

I went to this Brawl/Melee tournament this weekend and the Brawl kids were yelling about every little thing...like if Diddy pulled a nana, they would lose their ****. But then I realized that generating hype that way is pretty much like faking an orgasm; there's lots of noise involved, but no one is actually getting off.
