HSL: Houston Smash League (This Page Overgoing A Overhaul)

So anyway Houston has all-of-a-sudden become this huge monster full of horny teenagers wanting to smash. Anyways the number of smashers in Houston has grown somone were around 50+ people. 20 being know faces... 15 being kinda know faces... and the rest being kids who people might have met...but dont really know. So anyway I began to wonder if theres like 50 people that supposibly play smash... why is it that we have like a tournement/monthly ever ( 2 1/2) months and only about 15 people show... Anyways I think the reason is communication and the fact that know one except mabey me and TGM are sure were everyone lives...Long story short this is the place for people in Houston and the surrounding areas to post there areas and then we will put them on this big-a** map full of houston area codes so everyone knows what area you live in. This is just the start, eventually mabey we can start adding contact info and divide the map into secions lead by a section leader who knows that specific area of Houston...so when a new smasher needs valid info they would contact that person instead of callin my phone sayin "(such-in-such) told me to call you". Anyway heres Houston's Info.

Benifits include:
1)Letting people know how to get to your house/how close you are.
2)Letting people from outta state visiting houston, know who to try to contact if there gonna be in your area to get some smashin in.
3)Car poolin easier....who to hitch a ride from.
4)Getting more monthlies goin...more smoother.
5)Lets the new people to smash-boards know who to talk to in tthe area...
6)We can get some Houston Power Rankings goin...

This may not be too bad of an idea if Houston had a set place and time to have monthlies. We're having the no-Fluffy problem again, and that's the biggest hinderence to Houston having a bigger Smash community. Before we get anything like this started, someone somewhere needs to find a set place at least once a month to have a Smash tourney. Otherwise, a league like this is useless because we would never be getting together in the first place.

I highly dislike jeremy, cause he wins 3 matches and thinks hes better than me.........but

this houston map thingy is probly the best thing i have heard of in a F-ing long time.

now, here are some problems i think need to be corrected:

1. the map on the front page, i think it needs to be enlarged when u click on it. cause if alot of the dots and stars get on there it will be mega crowded....can u fix that King Ganon?

2. the reason tournaments are so few and far between is that no one has a car(except for me), no one wants to pay tourney money(except for me), no one wants to pay gas money when people give rides.and finally, people claim they will show up but never do. If houston will fix that problem, monthlies/tournies will happen alot.










After HOST2 i will be holding monthlies since no one is putting out the effort.

I'm not sure how interested Adam is into playing it anymore at least until Brawl. The guy that lived next to G@be (until recently) is Corwin. I live in The Woodlands, but go to Magnolia when I can. Also this tortilla is delicious.
