In retirement of smash.
Hello Computer Cafe, I've been having some problems with my scanner. I try and scan things but only part of the picture comes on the computer. Its only just happened in the last month or so. Its like the the picture is too big but most of the pictures I've been doing are either the same size, or smaller than my hand. Help please! The name of the printer is in the title by the way!

Take a picture of what's on your screen using print screen or the Snipping tool, then share with us like you would any other picture.

There's a button on your keyboard called "Print Screen" (it could also be called "Prt Sc" or "Prnt Scrn,' you get the idea.) On some computers, it will be its own button. On others, you may have to do a button combination (say, hold down Fn or Alt or Ctrl). When you send print screen, it copies an image of your desktop on its current state. From there, you can copy and paste it to your image editor of choice (e.g. Paint, Photoshop, &c.)

Snipping tool is a program for Windows Vista, 7, and XP Tablet Edition that does just this in a small program. More info here. So, screen cap and we'll go from there.

Ask any questions if you have them of course.

I need to see what you're seeing though.

You can't just say "It doesn't work, help please?" and expect help, no?

Print Screen is on every Windows computer since @ least Win 98, so you should be able to get a screen cap up.
