Yoshi, F-Zero, Donkey Kong, Earthbound, Ice Climbers, etc.
What items, assist trophies, stages, characters, Smash Run enemies, bosses, music, etc. would you choose to better represent these franchises?
Yoshi
New Character: Baby Bros.
Ice Climber like duo of Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. Lot of their moveset inspiration comes directly from Yoshi's Island. They are stronger as a duo, but when one is killed off they can still perform all their attacks, they are just weaker. Their intro animation is the stork flying overhead and dropping them in their blankets.
Neutral Special
Up Special
Final Smash: Super Baby Mario/Luigi
Assist Tophies

Neutral Special
- Screech: Babies scream at the top of their lungs to send a projectile soundwave forwards. This slightly stuns enemies. Lower range, higher damage.
- Bullet Seeds: They used the Bullet Seeds from Yoshi's Island to shoot a quick batch of watermelon seeds forwards. More range, less damage.
- Huffin Puffin Throw: throw one of those crazy birds that would follow Yoshi around like eggs. Medium range, medium damage.
Up Special
- Stork Carry: They hold onto the storks feet as they fly up. Good horizontal and vertical recovery.
- Cape Spin: Jump on each others heads and do a cape spin. Not much vertical, but afterwards they can float back down with Super Baby Mario's cape.
- Bouncy Ball: much like Mega Man and Sonics, they spawn that bouncy ball from Yoshi's Island with the arrow on it. Ball remains on the ground for a bit.
- Bubble Shield: They spawn the bubble that Baby Mario gets when he is hit off Yoshi. Provides protection from projectiles and opponents attacks. They get stuck in the bubble, and when you deactivate it, it shoots out whatever was stuck in it.
- Sun Flower Shield: They spawn the special sun flower collectible from Yoshi's Island. Projectiles are reflected in different directions from it. When deactivated it shoots out the peddles in every direction.
- Blanket Shield: The Babies curl up in their blankets that just straight up reflect projectiles back.
- Poochy Attack: Quickly summons Poochy to lunge forwards. The Babies hold onto his tail as he drags them forwards. Each fighter/object caught in his path will be chewed on and carried with them until the move stops.
- Yoshi Copter Attack: Summons the Yoshi Copter to fly forwards while the Babies are in tow. This attack is weaker than Poochy, but it can be angled diagonally. Fighters get caught in the propeller like Pit's side b in Brawl.
- Chain Chomp Attack: This one comes directly from Mario Kart: Double Dash. They summon a chain chomp that lunges forwards. Much quicker than Poochy and Yoshi Copter, but doesn't go nearly as far. Does the most damage and upon impact the fighter immediately gets launched forwards.
Final Smash: Super Baby Mario/Luigi
Assist Tophies
- Bandit: he runs around on the stage after fighters. If he catches one he carries them right off the edge. You can wiggle out of it.
- Fuzzy: Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy. A bunch spawn all over the map. They work exactly like they did in Yoshi's Island. Touch one, and the stage has the craziest acid trip you've ever seen.
- Sun Flower Sprout: a small seed appears and falls into the ground. Suddenly the grew sun flower starts growing upwards. The leaves offer platforms to stand on. No other assist trophy (besides that flipper thing in brawl) offers new platforms to use.
- Flying Question Mark Cloud: the winged question mark cloud acts like a party ball. It spawns up high in the air and flies around. When hit, it opens up items rain down to the ground.
- Egg Block: this will be one of the most unique and technical items. An egg block spawner appears hovering in the air. Fighters can either jump up from under it, or just hit it to make eggs pop out. You can get three. Once you walk into the eggs, they follow you around like Pikmin. They act as a throwable item, which means even though they are taking along with you, you cannot use standard attacks or throws without getting rid of them. They have serious aim, and can bounce off surfaces. Can be angled in any direction.
- Heart Tree: the heart tree from Yoshi's Story that has all the fruit on it. It sprouts from the ground and drops fruit from time to time. It can be attacked to drop more frequently. Each fruit has a different power up for the player. The options are to increase health, speed, attack and defence.
