This thread is a sort of sequel to Perkilator Perkilator 's discussion threads speculating what versions of Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that were given extra development time would be like. For this thread, we'll be discussing the potential ripple effects that a revised version of Melee would have on the development of future Smash Bros. titles (those being Brawl, Wii U/3DS, and Ultimate). To get an idea of what a version of Melee with 6 more months of development time would be like, I recommend watching this video:

And to get an idea of what a version of Melee with a whole year of extra development time would be like, I recommend reading this Google Doc by Perkilator Perkilator :
I decided to make a Google Doc of this a while back, only it's a year instead of 6 months.

Probably we will got a most balance version of Melee based that the PAL version that was release 6 months later have buffs and nerfs to characters, Wario, Sonic and Snake will be characters, Roy and others clones will be giving more unique attacks or fix some of the coding errors that haved, also we will got other techniques or more work in others like V Cancel, fixed some attacks like GaW aerials, Roy dash attack, C.Falcon Upaira and others, also some fixes for stages like Pokémon Stadium and probably more stages to the game.

Okay so I'm pretty damn late, but I'm going to make a rough interpretation not only of what Melee's roster would look like with another year, but how it would affect the series as well (though fair warning: I'm gonna get wishlist-y here as well).
