How will you be buying the game?

Personally, I'm going to digitally purchase it. I'm not sitting at a Gamestop at midnight on a school day to play Smash, as much as I love it, I'll take a digital copy, thank you very much.

In any other circumstances, I'd buy the physical copy of the game, but because I'm gonna be at school with no car and the nearest Gamestop is a couple miles away, I'll download it. Besides, then I can play at midnight. >:D

I've got my two copies on reserve down at the Best Buy. Sure, I can't play it immediately at midnight but then my brother can play it for the first time with me the next day. Not a fan of digital, to be honest.

I'll be ordering it physically. If I remember correctly, digital games on the 3DS are tied to the hardware (or your NNID, which is tied to the hardware anyway), which I'm not too thrilled about.

Plus i want it a midnight. Also my brothers wont be able to take the gamecard out if they get mad for losing (they have done that).

I just like having all my games ready to load in my system, so same goes for the Wii U version. Not that any other game is gonna get loaded ever again after Smash 4 is out...

I'm a physical guy all the way... but I think I'll make an exception with Smash Bros just because there's almost no reason to take it out of my 3DS ever... But then again, I've got a $50 Gamestop card that is itching for Smash... Eh, I could spend it on ORAS...

I'm also getting the Japanese version via eShop Friday, so my experience with that could color my opinion on the English eShop release.

That's why I won't be posting much and won't be playing online until October 3rd. I will type up things in time for official release, but not post the info beforehand.

Also, X & Y had the same release date everywhere. Smash is coming out early in Japan, and all of the information will be known before I even get the game. Hence, Nintendo Treehouse is doing that stream of the final build. Nintendo have no reason to come after anyone in the West who gets it early, as there is nothing I can spoil.

You're not very hardcore if you buy a digital version, I can't do that with any game but especially not Smash! It needs to be a real purchase, feeling and seeing the cart. Being able to have it on my shelf and do whatever I want with it is important for such a game.

Because I live in a not so big city in Sweden I don't have to pre-order it, but I might just in case anyway because it's Smash. I'm gonna check the prices the day before most likely and then take the bike the next day to the store with the cheapest price and wait before they open. Then go home and play all damn day.
