Well I'm having trouble setting up Fairs for the WoP and actually using Fairs at all. If I hit them off of the stage I hit with 1 fair and set up with another one and they escape. Can you guys give me some advice on how to set up Fairs, hitting them (and keeping them) off the stage, and WoP'ing?

I know Fair and WoP is insanely good and one of Rob's best. I just can't seem to get it down.

Thanks to all that help glad to be maining Rob :)

Well hitting with fairs is a main part of rob. They have good range, and u can short hop double fair, So u can fair or double fair to approach. If they are a character without projectiles, u can use lazers and gyros until they approach, then use retreating fairs to keep them at bay. As for fairing off stage, its really dependent of the character you are against. Try to make a WALL with your fairs, and dont recklessly jump off stage attempting to fair. Read their recovery attempts, and fair them, and remember, u can use retreating fairs off stage as well. Not sure if this helps, but good luck on maining rob.

a good way to set up for me - is dashatk to UpSmash works well a lot of times or just dashatk, then Uair to keep them airborne, then pile on the Fairs mixed in with Fair out of UpB. Or if theyre near the edge, try Dtilt or Ftilt or Fsmash something to keep them away from u but to keep them in range of Fair. Like Burntsocks said try to read their recovery, what helps to set them up also if ur far away and want to start it, is to shoot a laser or gyro to interrupt them. Then with one Fair comes another and another and so forth. But make sure u time it right, u dont want someone to airdodge ur first set up hit, and if u think they will see it coming - Reverse Bair works fine also.

Glide toss the gyro, and then dash and grab. Use whatever throw you like; U-throw or D-throw to knock them in the air, follow up with F-airs.

Also glide toss to dash attack to fairs
or glide toss to f-air.
Essentially.... use the glide toss. Don't spam it so much that they'll see it coming a mile away, but it can be an effective approach.

I love finishing off my uair juggles with rising nairs. Rising nair is B-up (hold B, let go of up) then press A while holding B. Rising nair for ultimate win.

Here is how I deal with the fair, usually.

The main objective of Smash Bros is to knock the opponent off the stage and keep them there. So do what you can to get them off the stage. Even a low-damage bthrow can get them off. Once they're off, do whatever you can to keep them there. One great way is to hit them with a fair. If you do that, and they haven't gone very far, use your second jump and hit them with another one. If they are STILL too close to the stage to die, use a little boost from the up+b and hit them with another, or as many as you need until you think you only have enough boost to make it back to the stage. Once you are finished, return and prepare to go after them again when they try to come back.

something that helps me...

make your fair off the stage a little high, so if the character keeps recovering up it still connects and if they try to drop under you they are set up for a meteor smash...
