How to Make texture Hacks??

Is there anything I should know because I went on AiB and it gave me a few programs to learn how to make texture hacks. The picture editor worked fine and I've been using that but I saw something that was a lot more intriguing: an actual texture creation thing. However, it kept on asking for .bin files and I was wondering how you create texture hacks.

This thread also serves an additional purpose, can someone teach me or can someone make crown Jigglypuff please!

Crown Jiggly would be difficult, and you'd probably have to use the hat.

If I recall correctly, all the characters have same exact model data, just some polygons are transparent for certain costumes (The goggles on Pikachu are always there, just see-through)

So, you'd make a crown-like texture with her hat, or something. Probably difficult.

I know but how do you do it? I would be gladly willing to spend huge amounts of time making it but I need to find out how to do it. I have 2 programs, Smash Texture Editor and Texture Converter, but I have no idea how to use either of them. Someone please help me and I will gladly make a few textures.

You can't add parts that don't exist.

Unless if something that jigglypuff wears looks like a crown then there is no possiblility in making a crowed Jigglypuff.

Jigglypuff has 5 parts, her eyes(both count as 1), ears(both count as 1), mouth, skin color, and hat(depending on what color you chose). So your very limited on making a Jigglypuff texture hack.

I couldn't make Jigal Le Puf because since editing 1 eye edits both i can't make a mustace in the middle.

Well I've seen Fierce Diety Link's texture hack with the actual sword which contained some transparency soo I guess he could do this too... Idk, possibilities.....

I mean making a crown out of a droopy hat would be hard, but possible. Though it would be a tiny crown, LOL

Ok, anyway, how do I go about just getting into the texture editor and making codes. I want to add transparency to parts of Jigglypuff's hat so I can make a crown.
