yes indeedCan it record at 60 fps?
Can you use the GB to record from your Pal gamecube and european tv or does it just works with american games and tvs?
Ok this was the part that scared me the most about this. In this passage of the first post you wrote N64s as the system being plugged into. This led me to believe that the system only works with the N64. So unless the GB works with only the N64 system, you might want to put "N64/GCN/Wii" instead of just N64 so people won't get the wrong idea that this only works for the N64.As you can see, there are 2 male ports and 1 female port. Your GB is equipped with 3 female ports, your N64 wires are equipped with 3 male ports and your TV is equipped with 3 female ports.
It might make it easier to mark each of these wires with colors (yellow, white, red) to differentiate between the wiring.
Now, your N64 wires will go into the female port. 3 of the male ports will go into the TV and the other three will go into the GB.
Ok, so your wires are set up and your GB program is installed. Now plug in your GB and turn on your N64 (and your TV of course). Open up the program you just installed and click the “Gamebridge” button. It will go directly to a “movie” screen with controls at the bottom (record, stop, play, etc). On this screen, you should see everything and anything that your N64 is doing. It should match your TV screen.
yes. sorry for the confusionOk so from the posts here, I believe that this works with N64, GCN, and the Wii, is that correct?

Yes you can. That's the method I use to upload videos. Just hook your VCR to the gamebridge and the GB to the computer. It's fairly easy.So... can you record video to a VHS, and then use the gamebridge to record the VHS to the computer later on?
I just found this thread, and decided to investigate before thinking seriously about getting this... and I find someone has already tried and tested this with Vista.i've already checked everywhere on google for finding vista drivers.
apparently some people can get it to work on Vista, and an equal amount of people can't get it to work.
Adaptec themselves say that they do not and will not make drivers for vista for the gamebridge, so looks like im boned
oh well at least it only cost like 20 bucks
from what i've been hearing the software that the gamebridge comes with doesn't work for vista, but I have an ideai downgraded to XP and it works fine
if u dont plan on downgradng, dont get the gamebridge
Hey all. I just got my GameBridge and tried it out right away. I'm pretty much sure on how to handle all the settings, except for the video output. What I mean by that is, the video files that I get after recording. I noticed they were uncompressed. Now, I know you have to use a codec to compress them, but I was also told to stay away from Divx and xvid if I wanted to mix and match the videos. Any alternatives and methods for me to compress these files to a more manageable size and format?
I'll make it bigger in the original post so people can see it better. Let me know how that goesI use the free version of stoik video converter, which can be found here. The free version works fine, I convert my vids into WMV's. And Windows Movie Maker can load the videos after the conversion.
do you have the link for the website? that would help us all.this was mentioned before, but theres a video converter called SUPER which can pretty convert any video format to any other video format, and its completely free. I use it and it's pretty amazing.
also i don't have much of a size issue
i record on the lowest settings and about an hour of footage is 1 gigabyte, which isn't bad actually
yes, it doesDoes the Game Bridge works for PAL too?
