intepretations* aside, you've failed to address my main points: A) I wasn't totally serious, and B) You yourself use a footlike measurement because it's convenient, ergo, feet are often more convenient than meters, at least in places where they're used. And you haven't weighed in on the whole "dumbest post ever" thing.Cultural bias. I don't actually use the foot measurement, just something close to it. I just think that a smaller unit is more useful for things under a meter or two.
For someone like me who lives in metric world, feet wouldn't be more convenient simply because others would have trouble intepreting the length.
