Cultural bias. I don't actually use the foot measurement, just something close to it. I just think that a smaller unit is more useful for things under a meter or two.

For someone like me who lives in metric world, feet wouldn't be more convenient simply because others would have trouble intepreting the length.
intepretations* aside, you've failed to address my main points: A) I wasn't totally serious, and B) You yourself use a footlike measurement because it's convenient, ergo, feet are often more convenient than meters, at least in places where they're used. And you haven't weighed in on the whole "dumbest post ever" thing.

I like feet. Lots of people like feet. I don't see why saying that they're convenient is stupider than anything Smasher ever said.

they're convenient
5.7 feet = 1.9 yards
12.3 miles = 779,328 inches
4.5 US gallons = 576 US fluid ounces
154 US quarts = 5.14670139 feet cubed

Oh hell yeah. The empirical system, the pure ****ing EPITOME of convenience. Screw this hard to memorize metric crap:

5.7 decimeters = 0.57 meters
12.3 kilometers = 1,230,000 centimeters
4.5 liters = 450 centiliters
154 centiliters = 1.54 decimeters cubed

Excellent strawman haha

P.S. Cmon yards to feet wasn't that hard :p
How is it strawman? If you're gonna talk about the convenience of measuring in feet, you gotta consider every aspect of having to use that measurement system. Otherwise I could just use the argument that it's more convenient to ride my bike 4 miles to work every day just because I don't have to pay for fuel and cry "OMG STRAWMAN" when people point out everything else that's wrong with this statement.

Like I said. Us americans like it when our measurements are hard to convert. It provides intellectual stimulation. Where's the fun in measurements where you can just move decimals around to convert them? And yes, being fun does make a measuring system convenient as well.

Even though you were sarcastic, that comment would fit in perfectly on the Fox News channel.

You, my friend, might have a future career in Republican politics.

I clearly said that metric > imperial for conversions and that metric is better in general. My only complaint is that meters are too long and feet are a more intuitive length.

Well thats the question. Any help?
Best way to get better is to study the game. I used Smashwiki and watching Isai's youtube to get better
First of all understand your character, all his moves, when you should use em etc.
Then understand the mechanics of the game (DI, Lag, Hitstun, etc)
after you learn those
learn to combo, when to do them,
edgeguarding always helps
finally
Mindgames
once you got them all set
your good

funny pic

Anyways, back on topic- training mode is a good way to practice, if you're like me, and have no friends.
