Hmmm? lol.

The fox I chaingrabbed wasn't very smart at di-ing if you're refering to that, but it was very nice looking indeed. But as for my opinion on fox vs marth, I think its relatively even.

Fox can camp there good and play a gay game of keep away so I don't say fd is very bad for him, especially if he knows how to di the chainthrow and avoid a death.

No kidding... I actually know someone who counterpicks Marths on FD as Fox. There's a lot of space for jumping around and comboing Marth. Marth doesn't really need the space as much.

I suppose I could be more gay and give like 70% per stock as Marth, but I usually just fsmash them at like 50%. The point is you rarely get a kill out of a chainthrow. You gotta have Japanese DI to get killed from a chainthrow.

Fox's shine game against marth doesn't suffer that much here, either. Nair combos are fun. Ceiling is about average height. Fox lives for a long time, due to Marth's inability to kill quickly at high damages. Recovering as fox is a little easier on FD.

Oh yeah. At 0C3, last match of the last set, PC Chris beat M2K on FD, which was M2K's counterpick. So I shan't believe it's a terribly hard match up on FD =]

As a whole, I still [retardedly] think that Fox beats Marth. Not by a lot, but still beats him. I think on some stages, Marth has the clear advantage due to gay edgeguards. I don't think the platforms help THAT much against Fox, because Fox can use the platforms successfully too.

But that's not what this thread's about. If you want see Marth vs Fox counterstages, JFOX made a thread about it. Search up his posted threads.

You said everything pretty well firexpride. I feel the same about fox beating marth by a slight advantage on most stages because when marth usually has the advantage, theres something about the stage fox likes too.

I've killed many foxes from chainthrow and their di sucked lol but lozr survives them on a regular basis but hes usually not feeling so good afterward.

Lol, maybe your chainthrowing is better than mine. I haven't been killed by a chainthrow for like a year - although there have been plenty times where I get chainthrown -> edgeguarded -> death. I usually take a good 60% from a very good chainthrow, but I can still make do with 60%, it just takes a couple of nairs and an uthrow uair to catch up. In fact, from a grab at 0%, most of the time as Fox you can uthrow->uair->uair->uair and get like 55% off Marth.

Most of the lesser-skilled players around my area don't bother playing Fox until they have a very good grip on the game. So all the Foxes I play know how to DI =[ .

IMPORTANT QUESTION TIME. When does uthrow-uair stop being a combo against Marth? I'm hoping it's less than 300%. [?]

lol, hot discucion here.

my option, DI backwards (from fox), probaby they mess up, and few foxes have the skill to land the Uair before you recover from the Uthrow. If you recover they can still Uair you, so I find better to wait till he's almost landing it, Smash DI UP+Contrary side, jump and press R (or L) at the same time. You have 2 choices, if you could recover before he jumps into you, you will do a Dodge, and he will miss. If you can't recover, there is a probabilty you can avoid the second hit with the smash DI. It's better this way, beacuse you can react afterwards. The Dodge option leaves you open for another hit, but if you fast fall and trick him, you can avoid de Usmash, or whatever he wants to do to you. Im not sure, but it seems to me that the Counter is a little slower than the "jump->Dodge" thing.
why jumping? to recover so you can dodge, unless you are that fast to do a Dash dance and dodge, but I think it's better to press that two buttons, and move the stick.

Good luck n_n
