How should you use sonic in a tourney?

If you are in a 1 vs 1 tourney, how should you use sonic, and what moves should you use?

Hit B and select Ike.

That's what I did.

Why would you play Sonic in a tournament any different than you would in a regular match?

Either play more aggro, or more campy. Don't try stupid crap, either way. Also, a secondary is suggested, as I doubt anyone is proficient enough with Sonic to take every match-up currently. I have Zelda on my backburner, and she seems to own Marth, Ike, Spacies, and Olimar ridiculously well. I haven't played a good TL with her yet, but from all the crappy ones I've played, I'd say that she doesn't get beaten as handily by him as most characters do. Srsly, Zelda's ridiculous.

in all seriousness though, short hop - Bair is good. I've recently switched my C-stick to specials to allow for this.

I keep Falco as a back-up. For those matches where a more campy style is needed.
