Will the creators of Poke'mon CONTINUE to create more? I'm not bothered by their streak of more than 300 poke'mon, I just wonder if they plan to stop.

anwayz, there are ONLY 493 pokemon up-to-date. It seems logical to have more generations of pokemon that cover every dual type such as ghost/fire, grass/electric, dark/normal, etc. or until they have made more pokemon resembling animals in our world. and yea they'll stop making pokemon when they start losing money.

Why couldn't GameFreak just put in 7 more pokemon to make the total an even 500? They could've just added some more evolutions.
Or, even better, Pokemon that bring in infinite Sun or Rain that are allowed in standard gameplay. Like a toned down Groudon or Kyogre.

Thats a completely random prediction.
One thing that's bothered me, how can they still be "discovering" new pokemon after all this time? I mean in R/B/Y there were no starly or bidoof, they were not know to the world yet. Yet in D/P they're EVERYWHERE. They cant have appeared all of a sudden.

You mean people didnt live there? That's kinda hard to believe, since some Sinnoh cities seem very high tech... and the versions can't be that spread out over time, since Prof. Oak appears in the oldest and latest versions.

this just the beginning of real competitive battling with pokemon
correct me if i'm wrong.........but up until the dawn of wi-fi battling with diamond/pearl/pbr, it was almost impossible to find ppl to battle outside of your own neighborhood
now you can battle anyone, anywhere, and at anytime...........the 4th generation games are where competitive playing has taken flight

That's a VERY good point. Competitive pokemon more or less was by word of mouth, and if you could find anyone who even remotely liked the game. But now there are tons of options available, and with each new generation, you get more and more options for you team builds.this just the beginning of real competitive battling with pokemon

I have to agree with this. That Pokemon, and it's pre-evolution are, well, words can not describe how bad it was. XD
Anyways, when Nintendo stops making money off of Pokemon they will stop making games. I find it unlikely that will be anytime soon. Diamond and Pearl sold real well, am I right?
