I have neither, but I'm planning on getting a Wii U in time for Pikmin 3, and I'm planning on getting a 3DS in time for Zelda aLBW. That doesn't mean there aren't already titles released that I'd like to play on either system, but none of them have been compelling enough that I felt the need to drop the money right away.

As of right now, I own neither. I'll admit the 3DS has a strong array of games to offer, but I'm just going to save up to get a Wii U when a SSB4 release date is announced and a PS4 around Christmastime.

Someone mentioned Wii U sales spiking around the time SSB4 is released and I'm fairly certain that will happen. The Smash Series is one of (if not the) best selling franchises for Nintendo and since the Wii U's current selection of games is not the best, I would say most people are just waiting for a good game to be released (i.e. SSB4) to purchase a Wii U.

I own a Wii U, handhelds never really appealed to me.
The 3DS is the first handheld I've been interested in, after seeing it can play games with a level of quality above the Nintendo 64. Doesn't hurt that it's getting a smash bros game. But I spent every cent on my Wii U and can't even afford any games for it so I probably won't be getting a 3DS.

I own neither, as I really only play my PS3 now. Even then I work soo much I havent given her much attention.

I will DEF be buying one of them come launch, but as to which one.. I would say WiiU, as I want HD, and I just want it to be easier for parties and such. Will wait out to see if they announce a bundle for a Smash WiiU, then pick that up.

All around its going to be an expensive year for me, PS4 at launch, AND a WiiU (for one game at that)

OH WELL! Smash is worth it <3

North America doesn't have access to an all-white 3DSXL so I'm not purchasing the system even though I wouldn't mind having it. I'm not buying the WiiU unless SSB4 meets my expectations.

I own neither, but jeeze there are a lot of good looking games on 3DS. Mario 3D Land, Zelda OoT, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem. And more on the way! I really want one.

As for Wii U, it'll get those killer aps in due time too. :D

Way better then Vita IMO, Nintendo games just have those feels when your on the go.
Vita is a great system that was getting some very strong titles at first, it's just been quite a while since we've gotten anything good for it. I still love my Vita if only for the amazing PS1 and PSP titles I missed out on. 3DS has been getting better games though.

Love my 3ds, almost never touch my Wii U. But once I start seeing Pikmin, Smash, etc , that will definitely change

Smasboards suck
I've had a Wii U since launch, it was a Christmas gift for me, child and wife to play games together since my PS3 doesn't have too many family games.

Bought both on launch day, and I regret nothing, have gotten so much more use out of my Wii U than my PS3, and use it more currently than my PC or 360. Ive always been a bigger Nintendo fan than a sony/micro fan

I have both, but there are no games on the Wii U that's worth playing daily imo. I rarely play 3DS these days, most Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I'm currently playing World of Warcraft again, it's time consuming and quite entertaining. I'm currently gonna stick to WoW as a major game until Smash 4 is released, but I do casually play FE:A and other games. Regarding Monster Hunter,as much as it's enjoyable, I really think it's more of a complex game than a simple game. Therefore, I won't head toward it unless I'm bored and want to dedicate myself to it.

I'll be buying a 3DS for the new Phoenix Wright game (and for Ocarina of Time). I'll buy the Wii U for smash. Until those times, I have neither. XD

From experience I learned that any game with good friends can be a lot of fun  . But of course there are games that are made for multi-player purposes which can be more enjoyed if you play with friends. Do you have any recommendations for a fun casual game?

By yourself or with friends? Ive been enjoying NintendoLand alot both by myself and with friends, as for alone, New Super Mario Bros U is alot of fun. Its hard playing that with friends because it gets so hectic. I'm planning on picking up Game & Wario on Sunday, so ill let you know how that is too

Phoenix Wright game for the 3DS? Hmmm... Sounds epic, when will it be released?

Mostly alone, with friends it's mostly Nintendoland, Brawl, Melee, and other random games. My friends and I stopped playing Mario party because it legitimately almost ruined our friendship  (Shocking isn't it ? ;) ) If Game & Wario is worth buying, please let me know. Thanks .

For those who are on the fence for a Wii U until smash, monster hunter pretty much can hold the system and pikmin at the end of the summer is going to be great. I'd personally wait for a price drop if I didn't have one/smash brothers.

For those without a 3ds, it also has AMAZING titles on it. Mario 3d, Zelda, New Super Mario Bros 2, Luigi, fire emblem, animal crossing, monster hunter, and a lot more on the way. It has a great library.

I don't have either yet. I will be getting one closer to the launch of Super Smash Bros. I might even get a 3DS. I am just a little concerned. I want to get a Ps3... at the same time I am really anticipating SSB is going to be MY game of the year. So I am not really sure at the moment. 3DS is still quite expensive. I don't really want to drop too much money on it. I am still curious how they are going to integrate the two versions of the game together. After I figure that out I will most likely decided whether or not I am going to get the 3DS. Wii U is guaranteed. I am just waiting for a release date.
