How many characters can you play "efficiently" as so far in Project M?

i play marth, falco, falcon in melee. in PM, i play luigi, falcon, falco, sheik, link, marth, and game & watch. i've recently started playing lucario.

I'm doing fairly well with my top main, Mewtwo so far. He has an easy WD and tailors well to my playstyle. Wolf is a solid secondary for me and I learned a lot of technical stuff with him. I'm halfway decent with Roy too, due to maining him in Melee in the past. I typically don't main any more than 3 characters but I'm trying to learn Samus since I'm a fan of Metroid and she is my Smash 4 main, but I suck with her so far! Other than that, I'm really tempted to try other characters out just because almost everyone is viable, but I mainly wanna focus on learning more and developing my Mewtwo.

Any tips for her, then? Used her a lot in Melee and 4, but I always get destroyed with her in PM, even when I do well with M2 and Wolf...

I personally do not play as her, but my twin brother has her as one of his mains so I know quite a bit about her in all of her iterations (except for Smash 4 really). If you go on Youtube ESam gives an instructional video on how to get better with Samus, such as missile tricks. In PM she is alot better because not only are her out of shield options better (she can actually complete rolls now!), she can switch to the ice beam against spacies for very early kills.

Yeah, I've been messing around with the ice beam and I heard it opens up great KO potential, especially with the new upsmash she gets.
