Your thoughts or emotions that you get while playing a game are the same as in real life. So if a person you think play unfair, you'd probably do the same which could result in bad problems.

Just so you know, I study psychology so I'm not BSing.

I highly doubt it, if that was true there would be extreme violence everywhere.

Here's a solution for the scrubs:

Don't like ATs?
Don't play people that use them, duh.

You might also not to come on a website that encourages using these techniques, it's obvious what kind of reaction you're going to get. Common sense isn't so common anymore.

Amen, my friend won't play me if I use Sheik because I'll chain throw him to 120% sometimes on the last stock, throw him down and then Up Smash him and he'll die.

Now, that actually is pretty cheap, I admit. But if he didn't run into the Shield Grab so much I wouldn't have to punish him. You think he'd learn right?

Anyways, I like my Shiek practice, so now I only chain him 3 or 4 times, and then combo him to his death out of it =] .
Becuase they want to win more then having fun, Their "fun" comes from "winning"

I thought you'd be nicer to your friends.

Now that you mention this, can someone point me to a place where I can see the differences between the original and current version of SSBM? (Yes, I know this is a Brawl forum)

LOL! Thank you. Just so you know, I have absolutely nothing against you. I merely wanted to point out the irony of your post ^^
^^haha, studiously owned.

One problem, it isn't REALLY a run-on sentence, but I see where you could've gotten that from. It just lacks proper punctuation...

"Well, if we're looking at it that way, then nothing should be removed, considering nothing breakes the game"

*I believe that is right...:)
I was told that it is in fact a run-on sentence if it is not properly punctuated. Though it doesn't really matter all that much, knowing these things may become important later in life. I'll be sure to look into this. :nerd:

As for the topic itself, I really hope that Brawl will not need very many updates. IMHO, the development team should've had plenty of time to make the game balanced and free of detrimental glitches. However, if they do need to make any updates, I assume it won't be too often (like weekly or monthly).

heres what i predict....

Sakurai releases SSBB to the world

SSBB dosent have Sonic as a character

Angry mobs threaten to kill Sakurai

Sakurai re-releases the game
Nice, buddy. I'd laugh SO hard.

But I'd be happy, because my version of the game wouldn't have Sonic in it. ^_^

See, but you're wrong. My fun doesn't come from winning, it comes from frustrating my friends. =]

I tip my hat to you sir.

Edit: Wow that's like 2 double posts in 5 minutes. I post, then check previous pages, quote and post again. I should really stop.

For the record.

To the people who think that:

1. These so called 'glitches' are cheap and pathetic

2. Never been to a tournament.

3. Think that professionals can't win without these 'glitches'

You're all faggots.

Oh how rude and uncalled for...

I don't know much about the PAL differences, but it's really dumb how they made Sheik's recovery shorter...

Your post was fine up until that last sentence. Insults will get you nowhere.

you guys should check melee discussion for all the glitches and version differences. This isn't just a brawl website. Also, I think they will release different versions, but they didn't take out the IC freeze glitch from 1.0-1.2 melee in NTSC, they only took out stupid things like Bowser's instant fire.

Oh please, it's the internet for christ sake. But since this has offended people, I will apologize for my actions.

It's just that I can't even count how many times I have gotten into these arguments. I have debated politely over and over, and now I don't even have the incentive to debate in a polite manner (Well, right now).

I've been here for a while now, and to be honest, it drives me nuts. You'll see eventually after you spend so much time here.

"I wavedashed to school this morning. Then I saw a kid do his normal run...

Getting back to the topic.
I realy dont know, but can they even update the games anyway? So far we have only seen updates to the actual wii system. These updates could potentionally be used to block future hacking devices (Similar to the way the updates were used to stop the import disk) but, as far as I know, there have been no updates for the actual games them selfs.
If am I correct, is there even any reason to even expect any updates anyway?

No Internet?!?
But because this form of communication is greatly affected by the distance between you and your opponent, your brawls may not run smoothly if you’re really far apart—like, for instance, if you’re connecting between Japan and America.
That means, like every game nowadays, there is only one version for all regions. (Well, you know what I mean.)

If you go online as C.Falcon, you wont be beat by an insanely strong C.Falcon from Japan, cause every one is the same.

So that just means Downloadable Patches, like every game nowadays.
