To live in that is. I'm especially interested in:

-Tax
-Crime
-Generally how people act
-Girls (My personal favorite is the feminine, cute one)
-Climate and weather, can't stand the cold, mid-west type climate
-Good/decent schools for computer engineering, computer science and software engineering

I'm especially interested in knowing about Dallas, Mesquite, Richardson, Houston, Lewisville and Sugar Land. Personal stories and experiences are especially good, if you have any.

Texas is a pretty nice place to live there, although I wasn't born there I was pretty much raised there.
-Tax: Don't know much about the taxes so can't help you much there
-Crime: I lived in between Killeen/San Antonio and the crime wasn't too bad. You'd have the occasional break in or whatever but for the most part not too much crime. Maybe because Texas isn't exactly the softest state when it comes to the law lol They'll whip up the death penalty on you in a heartbeat.
-People: People are pretty nice. Just be sure to not go somewhere you don't belong lol
-Girls: The every I was in had nothing but black and hispanic girls which I can't complain about because most of them was looking good. You'll find plenty of feminine girls of any race though. Watch who you date though cause some dudes act crazy over a ex but that's anywhere in the world lol
-Climate: If you like hot as hell weather then Texas is perfect for you, typical day during the summer will be up in the 85-95 degrees. Me personally, I loved it cause it was always fun to play basketball or whatever. Plus that gave you time to see the tourist spots like Sea World, Six Flags, and there's more. Just don't remember them all. It's not really as cold during winter then all the other states. Lowest is usually high 50's to the 60's.At least when I was living there it was around those temps.
I'll write up some of my personal stories in a bit.

its different depending on if you live in a populated city or in the more rural areas. if you live in the rural areas you have indians to worry about, while major cities you have to watch out for gunfights, but generally those only happen at sundown or dawn, so just stay inside then and its all good.

^^from living 200 years in texas

- Tax Well really i remember my mom saying that you don't pay state tax.
-Crime I live in Grand Prairie now which is way nicer than Flint, MI (my home town) will ever hope to be there's barely any server crimes aside from the usual stuff and teenagers. As long as you stay away from the hoods you should be fine Oak Cliff , Huston south side, and Dallas and you know the rest of yall are you should be good.
-Generally how people act They are usually nice and welcoming since there is nothing to be mad about but you will always meet the occasional **** munch no matter where you go
-Girls ( Oh so you after some ***** to?) Usually its a mix of Black, Hispanic, and whites, you probably wont see much asains and native chicks. aside from girls from The bad side of the tracks you should find you a cute lil shawty to kick it with
-Climate and weather, (I love cold weather it reminds me of Michigan) Well during the summer its pretty fawking hawt down here! Football practice is a ***** when its always 90 degrees.Well this year it snowed once and that's all which isn't bad because it was kinda warm to.
-Good/decent schools for computer engineering, computer science and software engineering- There are a bunch of technical colleges around the metroplex Lincoln tech. , University of Phoenix, and a bunch more down here adn when you graduate you usually get paid more for your job then most states! :)

So its a pretty great place to live because in the Dallas are you can go to six flags ( amusement park), Hurricane Harbor ( a water park) , and a lot more tourist spots!

So when you're bored you can always have fun around here. xP
