How important is who's online in rooms?

The only play I like it and felt it was most useful was the main page because I was able to see

- if my friends were on

- which Mod or Admin was currently present.

I can understand it being an issue, because right now, with Brawl coming out and all, I see a larger list of people online then I did when Melee was out.

Dudes, seriously? There's who's online on the front page. I can't believe the people who joined after this announcement were made and already complain that they "missed" something that wasn't even enabled when they joined. C'mon.
