Ok, so I was coming home today from work and I see behind me red and blue lights. I started thinking to myself I better pull over, I mean it at least it will look better. So I pull over and the cop approaches my car.
" License and Registration," questioned the cop. I instantly pulled out my wallet and showed him my license. I then went to grab the registration. He then proceeded to check on a couple of things. At this point I'm thinking to myself well at least the ticket's only going to being near 100 for speeding. I then realized I did not put my red decals on my car, which is required for every driver in the state of New Jersey who is under 17. Otherwise you will face a heavy fine, but then again I'm not too sure of the punishment. The cop then came back to my car
" Is this your first run in with the law?" questioned the cop. I then shook my head rapidly back and forth. At this point I was extremely nervous. "Well I'm going to let you off with a warning, don't let it happen again, O.K. ?"
At this moment I do not know what came over me but I looked at the cop and said,
" NO, I'M LETTING YOU OFF WITH A WARNING!" I could have said, " Thank you,"or " I am very thankful for it, it won't happen again". But not I said "NO, I'M LETTING YOU OFF WITH A WARNING." The cop stared at me, I started at him, and then he looked at me.
"Excuse me? I thought you said you were letting me off with a warning,". I then sat there questioning my next move, while the cop took out his pad and wrote me a ticket. The fine, I don't want to go into it because of the cost.
In retrospect it was a terrible idea. I would imagine I did this because I was so nervous I didn't know what to do and it just leaped out of my mouth.

Hmm... What could you have possibly gained from this? While, I have had a nervous situation, not nessecarily as severe as this, i couldn't possibly imagine how that would have been a good idea...

Were you trying to be intimidating? maybe HE pays YOU?

I'm sorry but that's ****ing hilarious. Bad decision bro.

Seriously I'm thinking about this and absolutely anything would have been better in that situation. Have you done anything like this before?

Like I said before I just got super nervous and it just happened. Like when you get hot blooded after having an intense argument with someone.

I once started to ask my philosophy teacher questions about trolling. At the end of it he asked did I have a problem with any of his responses. I started rofling and I received a take home test after rolling across the floor.
I'm just coming back in this thread to laugh.
hahahahahahahahaha
Good stuff.

Oh okay. I was imagining like a teacher giving you an extension on a project and you saying "I'LL GIVE YOU AN EXTENSION" or something like that. But LOL at that trolling thing.

Okay, I was recently almost falsely arrested by police. I happened to fit the description of a suspect who'd been stealing screen doors in the area (an office park). They patted me down and asked me a bunch of questions which did nothing but make it seem more and more like I was their man. I'm pretty convinced that I may have been hauled in if they didn't find the guy, which they fortunately did. Always remember, no matter how, nervous, threatened, or angry you feel with Police, always be deferential and polite. I even went ahead and told the guys that I was nervous. One of them said "don't be", but it's pretty hard not to when you're in that situation.

TL;DR: Always be polite with the police :awesome:

^ haven't a clue, but it would really suck to be falsely arrested over something like that. I actually saw the guy who they were looking for as they drove by; he was bald, wearing a grey sweatshirt, and probably not as tall as me. I don't know how I fit their "description" since the only thing we seemed to have in common is that we were both crackers. Only I could get myself into a situation like that.

This gave me a good laugh. I had to re-read it a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things, lmao.
