How far can PSA go?

Well, i've been looking at a lot of PSA characters and have even been designing some myself, but I need to learn the limits of PSA.
1. Can knockback be changed?
2. Can knockback direction be changed?
3. I saw Mario's sword in the Phoenix Mario hack, to what extent can you edit in weapons?
4. How close are we to be able to change models?
5. How close are we to be able to use attacks from different characters in 1 character?
6. How close are we to being able to edit projectiles?
7. Can you use any animation in your hacked attacks (including ending screen poses and stuff?)

Also as a general knowledge hack question, Is it possible to separate PT's Pokemon yet?

Any help would be appreciated!

1. yes
2. yes
3. this just uses existing animations from beam sword, nothing new
4/5/6. getting closer, but it could be weeks - many months before any of those things happen, if ever
7. yes, any animation the character can already use
8. Open SA will support PT, if that's what you mean. Existing code can already allow you to play as independent PT PKMN, if that's what you mean.

I've answered your questions for now, but you should make more of an effort in the future to browse through the relevant threads on the first few pages before making a new one to ask about what is nearly common knowledge in the Workshop. Thank you.

If you have additional basic Workshop related questions that can't be answered in an existing thread, you may PM me for help.

Thanks heaps! Yeah, I did mean that for No. 8 :D

Sorry for being lazy but... I'm lazy, lol. Next time I'll check the threads first.
So with number 3, could I texture hack the beam sword, then use that texture for the character's sword? Or do I have to use some kind of fire or shadow effect?

Thanks for all your help once again!

Add some fire that follows with the sword, but you have to be insanely good to do that.
