I mainly play shulk in bracket because he's more fun, why are you playing smash 4 if the main mindset you have is:

YOU'RE STILL BETTER THAN MY DEDEDE! SO CLEANSE THOSE WORDS FROM YOUR KEYBOARD AND MOUTH
Don't believe me? I get bodied by Lucas and Dr. Mario nearly every time i'm up against them.
I just can't play smash correctly.

Then why play the game? we choose to play characters that are fun to us, not good by teir-list means, but they're enjoyable to learn/play. No one will ever say "pick a better character" than a for-glory cloud or something. You gotta enjoy the game you're playing in whatever way you have available, or why would you play this GAME that we're all playing. Have fun playing for glory, make it a fun experience, don't focus on wins or losses, but focus on the fun that you have. If you're not playing to compete your local tournament(s), regardless if it's because of choice or not, then you should just have fun with the game.
