How do you direct the Seed Bomb?

I tried dB then left/right but it doesn't seem to be as sharp as that.

You just have to press left-right before the seed actually leaves your back (eg, while still launching). You can't direct it like that after it's already in midair.

The angle is greater if you're using down B from the ground btw.

And then just pretend you're Pikachu, follow their DI a couple times and you just earned yourself a star KO.
