How do I/can I extract a file thats on my I pod to make a computer file?

There was not a sticked questions and help topic, so I guess I can make this topic.

There are some songs I have on my I-pod that are only on my I-pod, (no original files on computer). How can I copy the songs from my I pod to a computer file?

You could try Winamp.
I think you can remove your media off an iPod through it.

As long as it's not an iPod Touch, that should work.
