How did you choose your main?

Fox : 2 ez to win with and be flashy at the same time. And he's got some pretty cool combos noone really uses. Mostly cuz they're hard. Like using Bair to hit someone in front of you. Too flashy, it hurts

Well, I was usually using Kirby back in the day, until I got Ness. Since then I usually play Ness. The headbutt attacks are awesome!

Pikachu. All his moves except for tilts are fun to use, and good for recovery.
Ness as a second, yo-yo smashs + spike ftw.

I main kirby because it is a puffball made of broken and fox because I like to know even though I play a broken piece of crap character that i do have skill.

Trying to pick up mario and link at the moment, that isn't going over so well though.

I main Mario..maybe . but Fox lasers and wall combos on HC are cool , but i cant give up Falcon becuz of his grabs and uairs . Pika his definitely the player im best with , but i dont like him , hes so ****in broken .... oh wait Yoshis and Ness DJC are awesome ! and Jiggz is so effective against heavy chars ... Link's fair is so satisfying.. OH SHI- >_<

I chose Yoshi to be my main because I used to really like him Super Mario World and he is one of my favourite Nintendo characters. Also, as I started playing SSB, I found out about his headbutt meteor move and I LOVE pulling it off because it looks so stylish.

I started maining Mario and Samus when I just started since I had really crap technical skill on the keyboard back then. I noticed that Mario and Samus could do very well without much comboing, so I thought they fit me well, as I used to be so bad at comboing that even Falcon uair combos gave me trouble. Then I just kind of stuck with them. I also intentionally didn't try to main Kirby, Pika, or Fox since it seems like almost everyone uses them. These days I've been trying to improve them though, as well as a lot of other characters.

I began maining as DK because when I played online he was the only character who was worth two sacks of crap in a fight. Mario is a close second.

Besides, DK's throws are over 9000. I even managed to 5 stock somebody on my second day of maining (though I have endured several major whuppings, but no perfects...I don't get perfected...).
