Ummmm wtf? ....
Is there some sort of insta death with Mr.Game and Watch's Number 2 if it hits a player that is laying on the floor?
That seems like the only possible explanation..because there is no way... he should have died from a 2 at that damage.

Most likely,it's a glitch with bumper and warp pipe. The computer must have recognized G&W go out the screen but the actual body did not.

I blame Goldeen. I always thought that pokemon might have some sort of secret power... Nah, probably just a glitch.

I know what happened. The slow mo took out the pipe so when he got hit by the bumper it took it as him getting hit out the stage and once the slow mo turned of he flew out. Atleast something along those lines.
It's just a coincident that the slow-mo turned off right when the GnW did side-b and that it was a Goldeen in that pokeball.

Even though this a very good educated guess... I don't think so.. The bumper would have kept on sending him to the right of the screen after the slow-mo went off ... he went directly to the left.

My friend told me there was a glitch if u got hit when slo-mo came exactly off, ud go flying.

Also, why would the stage not think the pipe was there?

Well, my guess is that if it's in slow-mo mode and you get hit by a bumper it thinks the pipe isn't there after slow-mo turns off. I'm not sure, Brawl is glitched.

Weird. When GW hit the bumper, there was two clanks, but G&W physically touched the bumper once. Maybe the comp registered that GW was still inbetween the pipe and bumper.

Whoa cool.

When you start flying in timer mode, your momentum actually stops earlier than when it normally would (it slows down your trajectory as soon as you can regain control)

It looks like there was a bit of faulty collision detection/updating after the wallbounce :/

I'm sure the wallbounce, the bumper, and the stage scroll are major part in this happening.

No, he hits the bumper and bounces off the wall, then hits the bumper again to land on the floor...

Did this happen during the actual match, or just over the replay?

Replays tend to be wonky sometimes. My theory is the G&W hit him with a 9 in the actual match, then the replay saved it incorrectly as a 2 - the result is this weirdo instant death.

But he died backwords, horizontal. JH9 would have huge hitlag and diagonal knockback. Looks like stage death
