How about Zero (X version) for Brawl

Does anyone else think zero should be in brawl? He is basically already formatted to be in it where the triangle button from X8 could be the B button for the gamecube and he has a three hit combo with square as well as jumping attack they would just have to fill in his missing A attacks they could possibly use some of his special moves they didn't use for his B attacks. Anyway I was just wondering if antone thought the same way.

if they're gonna add zero, it's gonna be the zero from mmz games
the only time zero was playable on a nintendo mmx game was in x3, and he didn't do much.

Mega Man X Command Mission was released on the GameCube. Zero was a playable character in that and had a significant role.

1) DarkKnight, I said on a NINTENDO MMX game. I am very well aware of the fact that Zero was playable in X4-6 as I own all of the MMX games. 1-8 not on the collection. I'm sorry if I was unclear in my first post

If you look at the PS2 he played a major role in X7 and X8.
2) As I said above, i own all of the mmx games so I know that. I said in the post you quoted that in the fighting games Zero had been in it was the Zero from mmz, i.e. Onimusha Blade Warriors and SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.

My original intent was to say that the Zero from MMZ is the most likely candidate since all of those games were on the GBA, and I would love to see zero make it in Brawl becasue he is my favorite Mega Man character.

Well do u think that zero's qualities from other consoles will be incorporated in SSBB?
Probably..yea. He has a double jump in the game. Also has a Giga Attack, some other stuff. He has a lot of moves in the MMX games so I bet if they add him there they will. Why MMZ?...He looks like a kid. Zero from the MMX is the way to go, he is the only Zero that needs to be there not some spin off.
Edit: I have played MMZ 1-3 but..he looks like a kid.

i still play(and still haven't beaten) megaman X5 and zero was a hard character to play with if u didn't have real skill i hope that's the way he's portrayed in SSBB (like a sheik: high tier)

i think he should have a style like Y Link except a lot stronger and heavier. Cause he's good with a sword but should have a good arsenal of projectile attacks too.

Personally I would love him to be in Brawl. It wouldn't really be hard to design a moveset for him either. I mean, he has so many attacks, including the ones gotten from bosses. For example, his Up-B could be the uppercut slash from MMX5(gotten from the squid-like boss IIRC). Like others said, he has a double jump too, so that's not a problem. I would rather him have his own style though. He's very orignial, as he does get several different abilities in the games(not to mention the equip parts in MMX5-6). He should be a medium weighted character, a fast faller for sure. Similar to Roy. But his sword slashes need to be quick enough to combo well enough. Not like Sheik, but good enough.

I think they need to give him the moves from the most recent game MMX8. He would have his upper cut slash similar to Marth and Roy if he did and X got a saber in X3 if you did it right. He also doesn't have a good arsenal of projectiles he has a blaster similar to X's mid-charged shot and that is it. He also got the dash ability in X4. There are also more non-sword users than sword users in the game so it wouldn't be a big deal. Besides that a sword is a classic weapon for video game characters.

You do Know..that Zero is a reploid? Meaning he cannot be like Roy or Marth? So that mind in case he would have to act like a relpiod. So..meanig Dweller that he would have a different move set and heights and what not. Also Zero can climb walls, he dashes across the screen you see where I am going here?

I'm just saying his one move would be similar it is pretty similar in X8 actually. It even has the fire effect on it. I agree he should be different, but one move being similar isn't a big deal. It's not like one move will make him a clone. Climbing walls is pretty irrelevent you know that would be an unfair advantage in a game like brawl if only he could do it, instead they could give him the wall jump and as for dashing it would just belike everyone elses run.

While Zero IS a drastically different character, I honestly think being a reploid is the least contributing factor. It's a pretty general term after all, even when used inside the Mega Man universe.

Colonel wouldn't be a bad choice. Sigma could be the Megaman characters' boss if each character gets their own boss as mentioned in other threads.

Well, Megaman will get in first, the freakin game is in his name, they wouldn't put Zero in before him. That being said, I always liked Zero more and wish that they would put him in (it would've been so awesome if he was in MvC2 as well). But I seriously doubt he'd get in before Megaman, regardless of how much better he'd fit into the game. Let's not forget all the regular Megaman games that came out before the X series on Nintendo that made the series popular enough to start spin-off series. Now, if they both got in, that would be acceptable, still unlikely. But, Nintendo likes to surprise people, so maybe they'll do that, which would be one of the greatest moves.

Yeah your right Megaman will get in first and if any of them get in it will be him I just how they make him the X version instead of the original.

Vlie was pretty cool, but as I said before Zero is more fit for Brawl, X..is kind of clunky since he does not have a Saber only in 8..but still.
He has a sword in 3 and 6.

I think he was refering to X and didn't he use a sword in X one after the first boss battle I think he did, but I could be wrong.
