Entering a tournament by paying is not gambling. He's using his skills to try to the tournament, in a way its a chance he can lose, but it's not gambling, because if it was, it would be against the law to hold the tournaments. It would be considered illegal gambling and we know what happens to people who do this, so, no, it's not gambling at all, it's competetion. Oh and wikipedia meanings are often posted by normal people, not law makers.

Im not 100% sure of anything...all I know is gambling is putting in money hoping to get more in return...while one could argue "Im using my skills", no one is perfect, things happen its a gamble. People suicide and such... tournements are border-line gambling in the eyes of my religion atleast, the only reason there not illegal is because the house or location makes no-profit...otherwise it would be illegal along like casino's. Money matches are on the other hand 100% gambling, you and another person are betting.... I mean seriously... MM = cant be argued at all, its pure gambling.
It only wouldn't be gambling if it was a "for sure" or "100% always win...and like I said no one is perfect, even Ken loses.

If you disagree with what Im saying well thats you, we all have different religions and moral codes... Gambling is wrong because Im a christian and in the bible its shows we shouldn't gamble.

1)Well technically you could be the king of poker.... but its still gambling because "chance" is involved. You saying skill is only erelavent if the person is perfect... no-one is perfect... not to mention half of the people who money matched me have never played me = prediction of future = chance...

so what...Jordan said that it was the easiest pool ever and that any noob could have gotten out... i was the closest in my pool to beating caveman (would have won a match had it not been for the ken cloud, grrrrr. he was obviously sandbagging, but he was with everyone else too, and i got the farthest. also, I was the only one (besides caveman) in our pool to win a match against the guy who got 2nd in our pool. we had different people in our pools, you cant assume it was even. Plus my pool had one more person than all the others (thanks wes jk) blah blah blah argue argue...lets just mm and get it over with.
