Is it possible for Falcon to do a completely horizontal waveland on flat surfaces with his second jump? I've watched videos of silentspectre doing what would seem to be a completely horizontal wavedash and was wondering if it's possible.

i believe he is simply wavelanding really well.

although im not sure of the mechanics behind horizontal air-dodging. my assumption is that its not possible, and that silentspectre is just a beast

maybe if one is right at the edge

You can't horizontal wavedash, but you can horizontal waveland. It's actually pretty easy with Falcon compared to some characters.
Completely agree.

SS does his wavelands sooo fast. He also double jumps everytime he does it which makes it faster. But if you get hit when you double jump....your kinda screwed.

on yoshi's story you can do it in several ways

from ground to top platform either

1) double jump as fast as buttons will allow => horizontal waveland on top platform

2) full back jump (where he sort of extends his legs and does a backflip) =? horizontal waveland on top platform

you can also run off the side of yoshi's and immediately double jump backwards and horizontal waveland the side platforms.

This

#1 also works on FoD

On YS BF and DL64 you can ledge hop to reverse waveland off the stage, then double jump and perfect waveland on the 2 side platforms.

If you can perfect waveland accross that entire platform, as soon as you are in the air, double jump and you can perfect waveland on the top platform.

On YS, BF, Dream land you can also waveland from the side platforms to the top, run off the side platforms (towards the middle), drop for a brief moment and double jump upwards and waveland perfectly on the uppermost platform. The delay you have to wait is something you'll have to figure out yourself through practice but I estimate its about 1/3 - 1/2 of a second
