I haven't touched the 3DS version since I transferred custom characters. I will definitely play it on long trips, but otherwise I discovered I can still use my gamepad upstairs in my office (Wii U is in living room). I thought when I wanted to stay up here on the computer I would play the 3DS, but I can just play the gamepad.

After doing an entire day of Smashing, playing the 3DS version feels extremely underwhelming, go buy a Wii U and support Nintendo's amazing games >:C
You say that as if buying a Wii U was obligatory just because you think the 3DS version is underwhelming lol.
Supporting games goes to both platforms, not one.

Back to topic, yeah, I'm still going to play Smash 3DS.

Well I fully plan to buy Smash U once I get the money for it because the wii u needs all the help it can get. But at the end of the day the 3ds version is portable and that just makes it forever a part of me.I just have so much fun playing it because I can be pretty much go anywhere and end up having a blast and then get on with my day. For example a week or so ago I was at school and I was trying to find some people to practice with me so I just changed my street pass message but I doubted anyone would actually respond but then in the middle of lunch this random kid (granted I have Street pages gum 45 times or something but we've never talked) came over and at first I was confused because he didn't say anything all he did was bring out his Ds after some awkward conversation we played and I wrecked him. So he got angry and told me if I did a money match he would "Play Serious"..... And I wrecked him again. Now the point of this story is I had a fun time with some random person and this isn't even the first time it's happened(granted it's not a daily thing but still) and I can say without a doubt I have never really had a similar experience with console versions of smash because I don't normally just carry around a Game cube with me(though I should) granted I still plan to sacrifice my social life once I get smash U I will still play the 3Ds version just as much. (at that's a long life wasting answer to will I still play 3ds version of smash I hope you enjoyed wasting your time as much as I did)

Still don't have a Wii U. Plan to get ORAS either during holidays or on my birthday on my already existing 3DS.

Yep I'm still gonna hang around the 3DS version for a very long time since most of my friends also have this version.

I don't have a Wii U so I don't really have much of a choice. That being said, I'll most likely get a Wii U late next year.

Like many people here, i'll have to stick with the 3DS because i'm limited on the money i'm given and buying a Wii U just to play the one game that i'm interested that is the same (almost the same) as the one i have on the 3DS in is not a good investment.

I still play the 3ds. I have the Wii U version with the GC adapter and controller bundle but I can't use any of it (even just looking at the amiibo figure) until Christmas. At least I have the 3ds and Project M 3.5 while I wait. As for the time I'll finally play the Wii U version, I'll still get on my 3ds for travels, lazy to get out of bed, Smash Run, and 3ds version of classic mode.

The Wii U version is my go-to version, but I'll still pick up the 3DS for road trips or whenever using my Wii U isn't an option. It's just nice to have as a backup.

I will a bit, though I do feel like the 3DS version is really a preview. It's always been a console game before and the WiiU version will have a lot of extra content. Personal;ly I consider the 3DS version to be practice for when the WiiU version arrives.

3DS only here. With 3 young kids ramming around, I can't sit down at my WiiU for very long. The 3DS allows me to play in bursts wherever I am without an issue, and I put it into Sleep at anytime. So glad they released a version for the 3DS!

Finished all but the 50 hour challenge yesterday! Oorah!

Staying on 3DS at least till the new year - unless the Wii U has some insane offer on black friday in the UK (doubt it).

I am not a big console person, the 3DS is great for me as its portable. I do have a PS4 set up on my PC and I think I've turned it on 3 or 4 times. My PS3 which I got on release I think was used 10 times, if that.

I want to have the Wii U and Smash4 on that, as I love Smash 4 on the 3DS, but I am also skeptical its just a waste of money for me. But then again, I got a 3DS when it first came out, barely played it, and now I get an hour in on it most evenings.

But I certainly think I'll keep playing 3DS either which way.
