I just lost a friend to drugs today. Apparently a weekend getting high was worth our friendship. That being said, that was... my only friend in real life that I felt I could trust with anything and enjoyed being around. :/ Thus only reassuring my personal philosophy on life. Which also centers (what I feel) rather closely on the anime Code Geass, whom's main character appears to have a philosophy that reminds me of myself.

As such, a group was created by stingers (135?) on my request. If he could get 9 people to join, I'd make this blog. He managed to do so, so I figured I'd get it done today. If not to distract myself from what happened earlier.

Now, I do not feel writing this entire blog in a spoiler tag. So here is your warning:

If you have not watched and completed both seasons of Code Geass, do not read further in this blog. I am not responsible if you happen to read a part that spoils the show for you!

I think that should have been enough.

________________________________

My views on Code Geass are intertwined with a bias I have on life. As such, if you disagree with me. I don't give a ****. Ok? Note that all of this blog is an opinion and my view point. So from here on out, I won't be saying "in my opinion" or "to me", it should be known to the reader that it's in my opinion. It only gets repetitive to say. So don't think I'm stating everything as a fact.

Lelouche, being the center of the show, is whom's problems we see get started, and resolved. He faces many hardships, but he is always able to keep the larger picture - his main goal of creating a world his sister can be happy in - in mind. Even if he fails in the short term, he continues to work past that to reach his long term goal.

Lelouche uses people. He sees that people are nothing else but mere tools, and he uses them as pawns on a chessboard. I live in a similar way, however I treat them as equals - rather then pawns. If Lelouche needs to use someone to reach his goal. He will. Many of the people he uses as a tool, from an outside view, would seem he is really close to. He knows he needs to give off that image to keep the person around.

He knows what his goal is in life. He does not let himself lose sight of this goal. He will use whatever he can to reach this goal. Including his own life.

I really don't see anything further for this blog. :x I lost track of what I was talking about (took a break) and don't know where to go. I'm bad with organization.

So instead, hey Stingers. Just ask me more specific questions please? XD

what about when lelouch lost shirley and became emotionally shaken up..he clearly had some actual feelings for her...how does that relate to your philosophy?

My philosophy does not state that you cannot love. However you do keep as little ties to relations (friendly, or closer) as possible.

"Those you keep close, are able to stab you deeper."

Can't remember where I heard it, but it's meaning is rather clear. Keeping people close only let's them hurt you more then even your enemies can.

Out of curiosity, would it be stretch for me to say: You don't believe in finding a true love (because finding said love would leave more opportunities for said person to "stab you deeper")?

I don't believe in "a true love". I also do not believe in "finding love".

Love will come to you eventually on it's own accord, by you simply reaching for your goal.
So... your love will eventually be "found", will it not?

Or that love would not further my goals, and therefore is only something that distracts me.

If I go in searching of love, it takes away the time from my goal.

If love finds me (so to speak), I wasted no time. And it was a benefit of reaching for my goals. (I use the term benefit rather lightly here)

I don't think any feelings he had for her were the true reason he was so upset. I think that he was upset because her death was his fault, and not because of any plan or goal but purely because he ****ed up and basically ruined an innocent life.

I feel the same way.

It was more or less a "I thought I couldn't **** up. What happened. My plan didn't go exactly as I thought"

OMFG. Altairian, I now love you. I'm stilling stealing that sig. :o

Only because it'd be nice to know I've probably spent well over 2 months on Anime. :x

EDIT:
Stilling instead of stealing? WTF?

Haha, yeah anime planet is awesome. I have a hard time keeping track of everything that I've watched, and being able to quickly set up and edit a list of anime that I want to watch is really fantastic. =)

Then tell me how I could spend time finding love, and pursuing my goal - without taking time away from pursuing my goal.

I'd have to let it happen, WHILE pursuing my goal. Taking no time off my own hands of finding love.

See that logic?
