Hey! Anyone want to help =D?

So, I started playing marth recently, decided to switch him to my main from Pikachu, and I'm hitting the learning curv =/.

Any advice is encouraged!

Well if you have any videos of your Marth please post them in the critique thread and someone can give you advice.

To start, check out some of the guides that are stickied, Zelda_Master_Timmy's list of Marth Guides will have everything you need.

Next time please ask in the Quick Question Quick Answer Thread.

You should continue to main pikachu he has better match ups against the top 3 than marth does.

It make's absolute sense; He like's Marth, keep it at that. Match-ups aren't everything.

Or better yet, since he already has some understanding of Pikachu, keep the rat as a secondary for difficulty matchups.

My problem with Pikachu is I don't like "camping", as it's put, and alot of Pikachu's ATs revolve around Tjolt camping, CG'ing, ect ect. Marth offers a pretty versatile gameplay and is very situational =)

It's what I enjoy doing!
But ya, if I can get some videos up, I'll work on that. I have a friend who used to main Marth (he mains TL now) but he's been saying I need to work on working more SHFs and stuff like that into my strats.

If you're just getting into Marth, I suggest watching a few videos of the best there is right now (NEO, RoyR, etc.) and just analyze how they are playing. That will get you started on learning how a Marth should be playing.
