Yes, this is not one of those threads telling you:

"DON'T ****ING UPDATE!!!!!!"

This is telling you how smart and stupid Nintendo was in this update.

First off, it started off with the very delayed and openly loved updated of the Opera browser for a smaller size, a free price, and better drivers. In addition, anyone who bought it before could get a free NES game. The release date of the free NES game is still somewhere in the future.

Knowing only hardcore gamers would buy the channel, and with an update to the shop channel that deletes everything (boot2 becomes boot2v4, among other things), it essentially makes it almost impossible to do a lot of things.

It was a trap to get you to be forced to update. Fortunately, there is a patch install for really hardcore gamers so you can still get the free game on 4.1.

Also, they screwed up an update. IOS250 was a version number to low to overwrite the pirate cIOS250. Seriously, *******es.

Yeah I do, do you have any idea??

Cause IOS250 the stub doesn;t overwrite the most common cIOS250 because of the version number. It thinks the pirated version is more recent. Thats a great way to keep a trucha signed IOS if you update accidentally.

Nintendo's pretty smart but pretty dumb.
