I watched the first two pikachu matches. Then I figured the rest of the pika matches were basically similar, no offense, so here's my suggestions.

I noticed that you do too many unecessary aerials. There were several times in the first match were you were recovering WAY above pikachu and you suddenly pulled out a fair. There was another time where you approached recovering from high above with a dair. Madness o.O. Doin this is basically saying "Hey, why don't you thunder me while I do a laggy move that doesn't even threaten you from all the way up here?" There was another time in the 2nd match where you did some random SH nair, I think that was a mistake but you only got one kick out and it missed as well >.>. Also, you did a bair much too early that the animation was already over by the time you got next to Pika.

Learn how to utilize your aerials. Know the appropriate situations and learn the properties of each one.

-Fairs should for the most part be used sparingly, either as an edgeguard or a TIMED defensive measure as you recover. Meaning, if they aren't coming out to get you, don't even bother using one as you attempt to go back on stage.

-Nairs also have defensive properties, especially doing one at the ledge if you see your opponent rising up from it. The trick to doing a proper nair is to jump, hold the jump button, and hit A immediately as you jump, (still holding jump button) You'll end up doing all 4 kicks and you can influence this to do either an approaching or retreating nair. Very good all-purpose aerial actually.

-Bairs and uairs are basically KO moves, bair usually being a "get-off-me" maneuver. You just need to work on the timing of these, and fyi bair has a huge hitbox that even covers Snake's head.

-Dair..um..you don't really ever have to use this. It's a flashy maneuver I suppose but it's risky because it's difficult to land all four hits and it has a ton of lag. You can for the most part stray away from this.

Now about that Pikachu....

Despite Snake's powerful aerials, he is sluggish in the air and most fast characters, pika especially, will dominate you in the air. I'm not saying not to use those aerials, use them when the need arises, but against a Pikachu the safest battle for you is to get on the ground. If you're knocked in the air, don't try to approach him from above. His thunder will beat you every time. Get your Snake on solid ground.

I noticed there were points where you just stood there. Doing absolutely nothing while the Pika spammed thunderbolts. Now, I know the bolts blow up your nade if you're holding it, but you can still be aggressive with your nades. Throw them over the bolts or smash throw them under if he's doing hopped bolts. A neat trick is that your nikita missile will cancel out the thunderbolts, so send one flying towards him and force him to shield. Now you've got an opening to throw more nades in or move in yourself.

Against a Pikachu you have to think quickly, because often they are agressive against slow pokes like Snake. You did some good setups though, notably 1:23. Your nade obviously made him want to do a ledgehopped aerial, that just came out of reach, and you accordingly punished with an uptilt. Nice one. Do things like that, bait him into mistakes, use all your moves to do so.

One more big thing....edgeguard! There was seriously a lack of good edgeguarding in your style, and edgeguarding is critical in brawl due to the buffed sweetspotting. Consider Nikita and/or mortar spamming the ledge. Shield dropping nades near the ledge and getting ready to intercept behind them is a nice, more defensive trick, of course. Don't forget the invaluable mine and C4, these really help you influence where you want them to recover, and you can be there to smack them back out into oblivion if you predict right.

Finally, I highly suggest reading this thread:

I watched the first vid, and right off the bat I noticed you are having serious directional problems. Get that fixed and that will help you out a lot.

thanks for the input guys. I think the pikachu vids make me seem worse than i am, i just suck agaisnt pikachu. (im not saying that im good by any means). about the aerials, i know what they can do and how they do it, its just durring a match i think i use them carelessly and sometimes accidentally, I agree that i need to work on that. As for edgeguarding...idk why i dont do it that much. i do when i play computers, but when i get a chance to play against a friend over wifi, i guess i kinda dont expect the increased skill and less predictability so i end up playing badly. I think i need to start playing more wifi and less VS. with computers lol.
