power shielding the constant spam works very well, power shielding has gotten insanely easy to pull off in brawl compared to melee. If you are trying to gain distance, roll/sidestep in at the intervals, this isn't falco's lasers here, so it 's much easier to get through the intervals. I only do this if I am atleast 2 rolls away, because once you move in too close, wolf will just basic combo you away, then repeat it. Once you are close enough, you've got many options. Jump over the last interval then punch punch kick or f tilt, if they block expecting it, go for a grab or if you're slick, stick him with a c4.
Playing against the laser spam wolf is all about spacing, if you're close enough for the sweep but not the punch punch kick, go for the sweep. I've also learned to pull out a nade, powershield the first laser, drop the nade between that first shot and the second shot, power shield the second shot, pick up the nade between the 3rd interval then cook the nade then toss it where it will explode in wolf's face, allowing you to mortar slide in or whatnot. There are tons of options, a very easy way to counter this, is play more turtly/campy than the wolf, if he's gonna laser spam, play with your grenades, they have more blast radius than the lasers anyways. Get the nades in his general direction and this will force the wolf to move.
