Wishing Apex 2012 happened again.
all i saw was sds and some missed openings and not punishing harder lool

stab <3

lucky started really baiting you with that dd like somewhere middle to end ish alot or some shizz

dunno why, might be just melee, but in i think ur 2nd or 3rd stock? where fox just respawns and you give up instantly your good stage position and put yourself in a bad position on the ledge and used get up attack and fox just dsmashs you like nothing lol wtf, dont get scared right away when they respawn just stall and regain stage control

You flubbed some tech skill and you missed a lot of edgeguard opportunities in the first vid. Do more late aeriels for shield pressure. Try to approach less predictably instead of just laser laser --> approach.

I really like your usage of up tilt. I'm gonna steal that =D

Hmm, well here main things I noticed ^o^

You threw out a lot of random fsmashes, upsmashes, and downsmashes in hope to catch him off guard, but you ended up getting punished hard. With Falco you need be 100% sure that your moves will hit otherwise you will probably end up losing your stock, play more patiently!

Watch how you return too, a lot of the times you side b'ed deep into the stage and you got punished.

Try to mix up your DI against Marth's chain grab, slightly behind is usually how you should DI at lower %s.

Finish your edgeguards!!!

those are just my two cents, hope I helped =D

Edit: Stab do you mind giving my falco some critique? =] I have vids in my thread.

New vids against peach. Mind helping me out in this (dumb) matchup anyone? =D

@kiko: Oh wow, I just saw that edit lol. I'll hit them up but I suck at critiquing.

=] thanks I appreciate it.

anyway you have to be super super patient against peach, you can't really approach when peach is just floating around. shoot higher lasers when she does that, space bairs or hit from above. you didn't really up tilt at all and thats kinda the only way you can combo peach. also you have to be more technically sound, you missed a bunch of L cancels. you're not really doing late aeriels, soo do that more =P and yeah, you're still throwing a bunch of random fsmashes and such, stop that!

=] hope I helped.

I don't know if you actually listen to the advice I give you, but here goes anyway :pP

In falco dittos you really just have to be familiar with the matchup. Laser control is the most important thing in dittos and I'm sure you know that, so whoever has the laser out basically has control of the entire stage. You gotta watch him and see what he does to make you lose your control. To counter Zhu's stupid powershield nonsense, just shoot your lasers lower when you approach so that you can just jump over them and keep shooting, or powershield them back at him. Whenever you're in a situation where you're both fighting for laser control, try not to be the person who wavelands onto a platform or jumps over the lasers. When you're stuck in your shield, I think I saw you try to shine OOS, but you did that too early. Be more patient and watch how he shield pressures you, if he's doing late aeriels then shine oos after his shine, if it's early then shine after the aeriel. Sometimes you just have to roll though, but don't always roll in the same direction at the same exact time, you gotta mix it up. When you're shield pressuring you tend to screw up or waveshine back and let him go free. Do shinegrabs or retreating aeriels and all keep mixing it up with all that nonsense so he can't shine oos **** you. You gotta grab more too, iirc you didn't grab the entire match against zhu. You teched towards the center of the stage too much and you got punished for that. you gotta quit double jumping so much, get your edgeguards down, and learn to smash DI so you don't get comboed as hard.

As for the lucky match just auto cancel back air more =]

If you got any questions justt post it in your thread I guess, I hope I helped >.<

When it comes to listening to your advice, I feel I forget it but when I look back at your posts, the stuff you've been telling me to do is actually the stuff I've been practicing lol, so I guess it works out.

And I always feel trapped by his superior laser game. Like I can't move. I'm pretty sure there was a point in there where I shot a low laser but he just power shielded and jumped out immediately to laser and I got hit by both lasers ._.

Well you have to be watching him when you shoot. Like in that vid, at :55-:57 you were basically shooting nothing. If you see that he likes to double jump laser a lot, catch him in that, if he's rolling catch him in his roll..etc. You can't expect to gain laser control when your laser has no purpose. But yeah, it's obviously not as easy as it is to say. The only way you can be sure to get laser control most of the time is if you learn little perks to your game like powershielding.

My home (in Italy :D)
firebird at 0:25 VS Lucky was a notable mistake.. apart from that I only notice minor flaws.. your spacing looks fine and in general you seem to be doing the right things.. the reason for which you got quite a beating in those videos is that your opponents do your same stuff but faster/with more accuracy. I'm referring in particular to the Falco ditto with Zhu (speed is a quite important factor in Falco dittos). I don't think you're doing something wrong, you should probably just get faster/more accurate in what you're doing. VS Fox is a different story.. in the beginning I think you got a little bit too aggressive. The way I usually play VS Fox involves using more lasers and being more patient. However you're up against Lucky, so I'm not sure of how valid my advice can be.
