Your Marth isn't bad but i'm It's just seemingly brainless at times. I watched all your marth videos and it seems like sometimes you do a Fair or a Nair for no reason. Sometimes you go for grabs when your opponent is high in the air or on the platform above....which is confusing. Aside from that not to bad though. Just learn to be more patient and calculate your moves. Once you get that under control you should start playing better people if possible. Anyone who would let you Nair above their heads in place 3-4 times in a row isn't someone who can help you grow much.

Just a few pointers.

Like Spam_arrows said, a lot of the times you seem brainless and you're just spamming fairs. I'd say that you should be a little more patient, which can lead to tech chase grabs and follow ups and react instead of just throwing things out randomly.

It also seems that you don't know that Marth has other moves besides the nair as well as short hop double fair. You spam wayyyyyyy too many SH double fairs. SHFFL one Fair is also very good too. As it covers a larger area infront of your face and doesn't have the opening that the SHDF has inbetween where you can get punished. In general, SHFFL Fair is better than SHDF. SHDF looks cool and all, but yea, mix it up. Marth also has Uair to utilize, you can use that for platform follow ups or even Utilts too, don't just use fairs.

More dash dance, a little less wavedashing. Dash dance is faster frames wise, so you can do some things faster out of it. DD to space yourself and bait stuff from your opponent. Grab more, and yea, learn to chaingrab spacies lol.

Your approaches are really bad, you need to think about what you're doing and be more patient. You also need to work on your edgegaurding. Jab or dtilt if he is forward B'ing towards the ledge, counter if he is gonna up B into you, Know the recovery length so you know when you can edgehog. You also need to know your percents, you tried to dash attack to utilt at a percent where that wouldn't work, and you would've been better off tech chasing. You'll learn those as you play or by watching a lot of Marths and analyzing the percents.
Your Marth overall isn't bad, you just need to work on your edgegaurding and follow ups. Never stop moving, and try to get better at trapping and mindgaming.

I agree with both Spam_arrows and edgeluca. Before the death of your second life, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't escape from the up-air. Although the kill with the downsmash was surprising, you should definitely increase the better use of a counter. Your counters didn't hit a single thing. Also, the dancing blade can be used offensively as well as a defensive.

EDIT: downsmash was your kill, to elaborate.

Don't take ALL my suggestions. xD I participated in not so many tournies.

I won't consider myself a top player but I am certainly consistent and I place well in BC. I also like to think myself as a smart player. Most of what you said was true, Xinc, so don't worry =)
