nice falco =D
i watched the first match
alot of his combos were extended because you tend to tech in place and he picked up on that. try to mix up your defensive choices.
also, sometimes shield-rolling is the best option. but it's still zhu so LOL you're effed anyways. anyways you probably know but the key to falco dittos is momentum, need to start the combo and keep it going till theyre dead

just watched match 2 and 3
why is cali so good T_T

My advise is don't play zhu lol. He'll make you depressed lawl!

Seriously fighting top notch players helps you find holes in your game fast. They exploit ever single 1 even things you never thought were weak points. I'd suggest practicing on people who are more you speed and trying to slowly change your way of playing/thinking. Then some time later fight Zhu to measure your improvement.

Remember The Zhu of old?

I'm totally not a jerk lol

Well you seem to roll when you're under laser pressure but it's zhu and he makes everyone do that. >_<

He got laser control most of the time but Kira tells me that if you shoot the first laser high, they'll jump to shoot but get shot and then you have the laser control. (Though it's zhu and he power shields 90% of lasers so again >_<)

You seem to need to vary up your recovery more because you usually go for the ledge or just above the ledge with Side B.

The only other thing I can think of is that you never shine OoS so that would probably be good to incorporate into your game.

There you go. Sorry for being late. lol

thanks a bunch =D yaa I was kidding about the jerk part <3

yeah I noticed that recovery thing, squid was telling me about it too.

the thing about the shine OoS is that you can only do that against early aeriels and the entire time zhu pressured me with late aeriels.

kekeke we should play sometime stab >:)

@Stab: I don't think so, I don't really go to tournies cause I don't have a ride ):

@Jungle: I'm not sure either, but I can never get it off against late aeriel pressure.

it would make sense that u can shine oos after their shine.

u just need to do it real fast. and its really good.

sometimes when they dont late aerial u, like their first shffl dair that hits u can shine oos right away before the shield pressure begins.

you can shine OoS after the shine in shield pressure. The problem is if they do a late aerial and then a shine and then an early aerial, the timing is really close (which is why you always see Mango doing that, and other falcos too). If they're doing that though the second aerial has to be retreating or else you can grab or shine OoS the second aerial, so you can probably do something about that. WD back to get out of the way or SHL or something, ask a better falco about your options there haha. Even doing your own nair might catch them.
