HELP! How do I upload my SSBU Replays?

So I recently purchased an SD card that is compatible with the Switch, to be exact it's a "Sandisk SDXC UHS1".

So last night I went ahead and turned off my switch, put the SD in, then went into my switch settings and formatted the SD properly and everything. Now I had some replays (after patch 1.2.0) that I converted into videos so I could upload them to my YouTube channel and share it in my Discord. But when I plug the SD into my Laptop to upload the file it turns out that my video file is showing as a JPG file instead. I have looked everywhere trying to find a solution to this.

I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing in the process or if it's just being silly and not getting the correct format. Is there some kind of exporting I need to do or? Please help lol.

How do you get the replays off of SSBU onto the SD card? I can try that tonight and let you know what happens with me.

hmm. it's odd you ended up with a jpeg file.

when I put in a micro sd card to save replays for smash, I didn't have to format it or anything. it just worked. o.O

all I can say is make sure you can view the replay in the "videos" section (NOT replay data, this is the Switches internal memory ). in order to turn Replays into Videos, they must first be Recorded within the replay data menu! if the replay is in the Videos section, that means it successfully made it onto the Micro SD card.

once you access the micro sd card data on a computer, the replay files should be in:
Nintendo>Album>Extra>0E7DF678130F4F0FA2C88AE72B47AFDF>(year)>(month)>(day of month)

below should be MP4 files named with long strings of numbers and letters. those are the replays! simply upload those to any site, and your done.

hopefully this will help The_Real_Nero The_Real_Nero and others!

I'll have to check my micro sd card tonight. I have already created some videos so they should appear on there if I look at the card on my computer.
Edit: Confirmed. You have to go into the nintendo folder -> album -> Extra (not 2018) ->0E7DF678130F4F0FA2C88AE72B47AFDF -> year, month, day
