Help for my dissertation - Survey about video games

this online questionnaire has been developed as a part of my dissertation at the Institute of marketing and media at the University of Hamburg (http://www.imm.uni-hamburg.de/forschung.html). And I really need your support!!!

I’m researching gaming behavior. The survey will take approx. 8-10 minutes. I assure you, that all your data will be handled anonymously and solely be used for my diploma thesis. Note: The purpose of this survey is purely scientific without any commercial interests.

The questionnaire is too narrow to get good data from. It acts as if most gamers only play one game and this makes it difficult for someone like myself who plays a wide verity of games constantly to give good answers.

Plus which series I play the most constantly shifts since I tend to go through phases.

Like, currently I'm into FPS games. Before that, however, it was all about Sonic, Mario, Legend of Zelda, Need for Speed, etc.

You might want to edit the questionnaire. Just some edits.

Besides, some questions asking how long do you expect this certain game to come out don't work out well because games like CoD and Pokemon already have a set pattern that doesn't leave much for the questionee to predict

Yeah, I didn't really like the survey that much. I should have wrote comments. I probably should have read your opening, but I couldn't really tell what kind of data you wanted to get from this survey. A couple of question hinted at maybe peer pressure. Another question seemed to hint at gaming as an addiction. I didn't really like the formatting. A couple of question had check boxes but only allowed for one answer. Which for those questions wasn't really appropriate. Why did you list specific games when you could have done genres instead? It would have narrowed your responses and improved them.

Anyway, I hope you get good results, but I think you could have done a lot better.
