help executing the DR (dragonic reverse) technique

Somebody has to help me to get this technique right!! for some reason i can do it on 1/4 speed but not any higher. I believe it may be because i cannot tap the control stick up twice fast enough. I need any advice that may help me increase the speed that I tap up.

yeah. I use XXA whenever I (try to) DR. it's better to have tap jump off for recovery reasons. Plus you have to know DR to be a good Yoshi main but its your choice, can't tell you what to do.
