Help Critique My friend

I don't know much about Doctor Mario, I don't know how to fight him nor how to help my friend know what to do in situations. So if you guys could help him out that'd be great, I tried to use all my playable characters So you can see his mistakes in match ups.

Also Sorry for no sound. I added music to most, but Youtube ganked some of it with copyright claims.

I don't mind some advice to avoid some of doc's gimmicks either plz. But this is mostly for him.
These are done in sets, and his tag is ******.

Apparently I need to nair more and dthrow most characters, anyone have good advice on how to space and pressure with naur? everything says that is my attack to approach but I just don't see it

incorporate wavedashing more into your game, doc's wavedash is really good and important for spacing, and you have to be faster in general. with the nair approach you just jumped straight up instead of shorthopping it forward. Don't forget you can chaingrab heavy chars and that u/dthrow leads to fair on several chars as a killing move.

Ive been working on that alot too, but all those nairs were mostly defensive and not really me attacking in, but i think i figured out the timing to throw it out and space it enough to not get punished, his legs are so stubby. but yeah, im slipping. finally figured out a decent way of wavedashing out of shield without relearning my R buttons stuff. Im having a world of trouble landing multiple uairs on anyone though. Ive been reading threads and working on looking for the right percents to do it. Around 50-65 seems to be the general concensus, but obviously the higher end for capfal, doc, and those weights, and i think around 70 for spacies, but im still not sure thats neccisary for them.

I do wavedash a good amount against marth, simply because i have room too, zone is really agressive and i find it hard to incorporate much quickly without a ton of trial and error.

hopefully ill be able to talk to dogy a bit if he goes to we stay smashing on the 10th

Instead of jumping up and nairing, use dair since it covers more of your body (for defense). Well most of it lol. Also jumping with nair as a defense isn't bad, its still something.

Wavedash with R and shield with L. ;3

I saw quite a few missed L-Cancels, especially on the dair...it seems you have the tech skill down pat, but you look like you are playing only as your char, and not against your enemy (If you know what i mean, kinda confusing, couldnt figure out a better way to word that.,..) And try to reverse upb to the ledge if possible so you can avoid being caped, but that should go without saying...You also missed a couple oppurtunities to grab, and instead you just tried to jump and aerial him, although in friendlies, i try not to grab with CF, or whoever has easy grab combos, may have been the same with you...

******(Once again only based on first vid)
A few times in there you just kept shuffling bairs in one spot, start WDing towards the enemy and bairing, no reason not to, you can shffl them fast enough you should be able to approach well with that...

(I just woke up, hope i made sense...)

To be fair to myself I switched characters every set, so I had to like re-learn, If i played falcon only all day l-cancels would be more on que. But I think I know what you mean. Instead of playing against my opponent. I was playing just a standard falcon. But I believe you see this as this, is because I don't really know what I'm doing with doc other than down throwing and trying to connect aerials together. I'm always scared they will just grab the edge when I reverse up+B no hope of getting on then. But I should mix it up.

Does anyone have tips for wdash on doc? I just started playing (initially a falcon) seriously and I feel that dr mario is pretty conducive...

Try having the control stick as close to horizontal you can, for doc. That way you would get a longer wavedash, and it would benefit you with spacing and crossing the stage smoothly.

You don't have to use it all the time. Just use it when you need to get away or get somewhere quickly.

And yes, its easier to wdash with doc than captain falcon.
