When playing a Marth, you really need to outcamp him. Don't approach him unless you're absolutely sure that he's got enough lag for you to grab him. If he sidesteps a lot, just wait for him to do it, and then punish accordingly.

If he likes to double Fair a lot, you have to be quick and get him in between swings. If he misses an L-cancel, you better make **** sure that you're ready to punish him for it. Remember that your two fastest aerials are the Uair and the Nair, both of which easily start combos.

Uthrow to knee at like 70% - 90% ish. Dthrow to knee at 90% + should usually secure the kill, you just have got to be able to react to his DI, if any. If you feel out of reach for a knee, then try an Uair to Knee instead.

Hope this helps!

be patient and let him come to you, the best time to grab is after he L-cancels a fair. even L-cancelled aerials have lag; don't forget that these provide easy grabs.

Look for the smallest openings, spam nairs, play defensively until you hit a weak point, then go all out.

Dthrow and Uthrow are also great.
