[Wow, 2 posts in a row I had to use this.]
Honestly going to have to go with Shulk here. Robin can use a sword and magic, but the Monado is just too good. Unlike Robin, Shulk's Monado has no durability limit. And it allows him to see the future, which makes it nearly impossible to use a sneak attack or most strategies against him. The buffs could also throw off any sort of exacting plan Robin has and, even if he can account for those, Shulk can still see the future. Shulk's not a dumb protagonist either. These two are both nerds and their games both require strategy. However, while Robin has time to think out strategy in his game, most of the time Shulk is thrown into situations where he has to adapt his strategy on the fly. Straight up without using any of their endgame powers (because Shulk would auto-win) Shulk would win. He can close the distance and get past Robin's magic too fast and Robin's weapons have limited durability. So who is stronger, Shulk or Robin?
Now i'm scared for Melia getting in in some way.Anybody else remember when we were so scared of Shulk not being in that we kept putting of pictures of Xenoblade Miis just in case?
Those were the days.... that honestly can't compare to how awesome this week has been
I know Mii Monado isn't even possible and this excites me.Now i'm scared for Melia getting in in some way.
but seriously, I'm going to have Shulk vs Mii Shulk vs Mii Monado vs Oil Shulk
Everything is possible if you try hard enough. the plan is to just have a massive red circle head with red as its favourite colour, and maybe try to put a symbol in the middleI know Mii Monado isn't even possible and this excites me.
Hopefully in the Wii U version. The 3ds only has 2 songs per stage they said, so i'm guessing Gaur plains & You will Know our Namesheres what I feel Shulk VS everyone else in smash = everyone in smash dead and shulk is the winner (jk)
lol honestly I feel they're gonna add engage the enemy as one of the stage themes what do you guys think
Homs, not humans. It has to do with beings of Bionis, without getting into spoilersWait... can't the Monado not harm humans?
Ah, I get it. Thanks.Homs, not humans. It has to do with beings of Bionis, without getting into spoilers
It can't harm those of the bionis. humans aren't of the bionis, homs areWait... can't the Monado not harm humans?
~We've been spending most our lives, living in a Hom-ish paradise~It can't harm those of the bionis. humans aren't of the bionis, homs are
To be fair it was explained in XenobladeThe whole "they're-human-but-aren't" thing has always been a pet peeve for varies sci-fi and fantasy media.
It's like, don't loophole that crap. It just looks lazy.
Generally he seemed to have a clearer voice when excited. I assume its because its harder to put on a voice while screaming.Any Xenoblades enthusiasts want to enlighten me on why Riki had a normal sounding voice in Shulk's Final Smash, but a very gruff voice when saying "Get them, Shulk!" when Shulk was taunting at Gaur Plain? Is that something he just does ordinarily?
Also, gonna go search for Xenoblade tomorrow at the stores. Smash Bros. commercialism at its finest.
Good luck. Also, gonna go search for Xenoblade tomorrow at the stores. Smash Bros. commercialism at its finest.
Yeah, its also a little more round.Totally random question, but does anyone else think that Shulk's head looks bigger in Smash than it does in Xenoblade?
Yes, definitely on his artwork. I think that Shulk has a big head and a little body. I don't mind it at all to be honest.Totally random question, but does anyone else think that Shulk's head looks bigger in Smash than it does in Xenoblade?
Shulk's proportions are indeed better in Smash.
I really don't understand what you guys are going on about, but whatever. Opinions, I guess.Really though, I feel like Shulk's head is a bit bigger in Smash. It looks a lot bigger in his official art, but I think that's just because his head's at an odd angle.
I'm laughing so hard. XD

But like, why would you even look at his head in this artwork when there's all this other goodness to stare at?
It's a bit more noticeable in his Sleek Oil art. Thankfully I was looking at it recently, so I have quick access to it. :b
You posted that picture then said "head". Ohh myyy.
...Indeed.

I know what you mean. Seeing those Shulk screenshots on the US site for the first time yesterday morning was the most excited I've been in years. My dad said he hadn't seen me that excited since I last believed in Santa Clause. You posted that picture then said "head". Ohh myyy.
In other news, I can't stop watching the trailer. I'm still in that "surreal" state of mind. Oh, and my partner said my eyes were dilated all day yesterday. The hype was literally visible on my face xD
