Man, if Shulk gets Assist Trophy treatment, then Nintendo just shot themselves in the foot.

The Fire Emblem series is so lucky right now, and I'm very happy for that. After that last character announcement, who knows how many Fire Emblem Awakening copies have been sold at that moment. Xenoblade and its sequel needs more love, too. D:

I don't think it's a disconfirmation week based solely on one PotD. If there is another disconfirmation tomorrow, then I could maybe see it being one.

C'mon people, I know seeing a popular newcomer get delegated to AT makes us worried about Shulk, but he has a lot more going for him than Takamaru. In fact the more characters that get deconfirmed, the more likely Shulk becomes.

When I was under 10 posts I discovered after you make your post you can edit in the link to the url and it won't block you. It only blocks you on the initial post of the message, not editing it. I just felt like getting this discovery out there :3

Yeah, we only have one data point. There's no way we can make a prediction based on that.

Anyone ever wonder if Sakurai has a smashboards account? His miiverse posts are often reminiscent of the arguments we use against or for characters. I mean... it's more likely that some of our arguments are correct or that somebody he knows could be watching the forums, but you never know...

I love how Shulk is one of the big shots now btw. Gone are the days when people said that Shulk wasn't likely because he is a "Generic JRPG protagonist from a niche franchise without a sequel." Things can change a lot in one year.

Yeah. It's been an amazing few months to be a Xenoblade fan, that's for sure!

Shulk, in my opinion, is the last A tier Nintendo character that has yet to be given a role in SSB4, and all the signs point to playable.

If this happens to be Deconfirmation week for SSB4, I hope we are not effected by it and stand strong by our boy.

In my opinion, these are the last characters that have the best chances of getting in SSB4 as playable at this point:

Lip
Krystal
Isaac
Bandanna Dee
