I've been wondering if any of you has played every single franchise represented in Smash Bros. I'm also looking for suggestions because I want to get into Fire Emblem, F-Zero, Kirby, Animal Crossing and Megaman but I don't know where to start. (I'm excluding Hanenbow)

Here's my list: Have you played all the franchises currently represented in Smash?

ANIMAL CROSSING: Only played a bit of the original, wasn't really interested.
DONKEY KONG: Only played a bit of DKC, interested but I haven't finished it.
EARTHBOUND/MOTHER: Yes! Finished all three games, my favorite videogame series.
F-ZERO: Only played a bit of F-Zero GX and the SNES game, wasn't really interested.

FIRE EMBLEM: Only a bit of Path of Radiance, it was kinda boring.
GAME & WATCH: No.
ICE CLIMBER: No.
KID ICARUS: No, but I'm interested in playing it.

KIRBY: Only played a bit of Superstar, interested but I haven't finished it.
MARIO: Yes. My favorite has to be Super Mario 64 or Galaxy.
MEGAMAN: No, but I'm interested in playing it.
METAL GEAR: No, but I'm interested in playing it.

METROID: Yes. Played Prime and recently Super, but I haven't finished any.
ROBOT (GYROMITE/STACK UP): No.
PIKMIN: Yes! Finished both games (waiting on 3) great series.
POKÉMON: Yes, my favorites are XD and FireRed.

SONIC: Yes, my favorites are CD and the first one.
STAR FOX: Only played a bit of Command, Adventures and the first one. Wasn't really interested.
WARIO (WARE/LAND): Yes, played a couple of WarioWare's, I've never played Land though.
WII FIT: No.

YOSHI: Recently been playing Story, it's good so far but I'm not feeling it.
ZELDA: Yes, one of my favorite series. I really like the first one, Majora's, Wind Waker and Twilight P.

Okay so the only franchises I've REALLY played are EarthBound, Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Pokémon, Sonic, WarioWare and Metroid. (far less than I thought) :(

The ones that I've played a bit are Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong, F-Zero, Kirby, StarFox, Fire Emblem and Yoshi.

and I haven't played yet Game&Watch, Ice Climber, Kid Icarus, Metal Gear, Gyromite/Stack Up, and Wii Fit.

How about you?

Well, let's see...

Mario: Who hasn't.
Zelda: Yep, mostly Ocarina of Time, but I've played many others.
DK: A bit of Country, not much else.
Yoshi: Does Mario World count? Otherwise no.
Pokémon: Who, me? Pokémon? Naw.
Kirby: Return to Dream Land was awesome, esp. with friends.
Earthbound: When I get a Wii U, I'll get Earthbound.
Pikmin: When I get a Wii U, I'll get Pikmin 3.
F-Zero: Played a bit of GX with a friend and still hoping for a new game in the series.
Animal Crossing: No, but I really should start soon with New Leaf.
Sonic: A bit of Adventure 2, but I really don't care much for the series.
Star Fox: Nope.
Metroid: Nope.
Wario: Nope.
Ice Climber: Nope.
Fire Emblem: Awakening was OK, just not my cup of tea.
Kid Icarus: No, but I am interested in Uprising.
Metal Gear: Nope.
Wii Fit: Never got into the health craze with the Wii.
Game and Watch: Nope.
ROB: Nope.

I also played the Masterpieces in Brawl, but I'm not counting those.

Mario: Of course. Definitely a franchise that I have been playing for as long as I can remember. :p
Zelda: Yup, got into the series since A Link to the Past. :)
Donkey Kong: Double Yup, Donkey Kong is a family favourite. c:
Yoshi: Yes, but only the SNES one and its GBA rerelease.
Pokémon: Definitely, started since Soul Silver though. But have been playing the series since.

Kirby: Yup Yup again. Mostly Kirby's Adventure though.
Earthbound: All three yes. With ROM's though but that couldn't be helped. >_> The series is great though and I wish those who are just starting to play the series through the Wii U virtual console lots of fun. :)
Pikmin: Yeah but not much. :/ I'll get Pikmin 3 as soon as I get my hands on a Wii U.
F-Zero: Only very briefly. Games are a bit too difficult for me to control. But I might try out the N64 and Gamecube ones if I ever get the chance.
Animal Crossing: Yup, started with New Leaf, although I haven't touched the game for a week now... My town must look horrendous with some of the villagers having left by now.... :/

Star Fox: Yup, Starfox was one of my first franchises I've ever played along with Mario back when I was a little kid.
Metroid: I played Prime and the first game. Both only briefly though. :/ I am trying to get into the series though.
Wario: Yeah I played both the Land and Ware games. I prefer the Ware games though. sorry Land fans. :x
Ice Climber: Yup. Didn't really enjoy it much though. But I am in support for a brand new Ice Climbers game though.
Fire Emblem: Yeah, I played Sacred Stones briefly but I did play Awakening Fully. I'm planning to get really into the series from now on. :)

Kid Icarus: Definitely. Especially the NES one and Uprising.
Wii Fit: Nope, not sure I ever will. Though Wii Fit Trainer is awesome.
Game and Watch: I don't recall I ever did.... :/ I guess I will give them a shot.... someday....
ROB: Yeah a long time ago, a friend of mine had R.O.B. and we used to play one of those games where you had to lead some kind of professor somewhere. It's so vague I can't remember, It's been so long... :/

Metal Gear: I only played the demo of Metal Gear Solid 3DS. I will try the series out fully one day.
Sonic: Yeah but not the more popular ones.
Mega Man: Only played the first one through the 3DS virtual console. I'm trying to get more into the series though.

Yeah I played most franchises that have a playable character in Smash Bros more or less except for Wii Fit and Game & Watch I guess.

I've been trying to broaden my scope of game series according to franchises represented in Smash. I do plan on at least trying one game from each.

Mario: Obviously. My first game was either Pac-Man or Super Mario Bros. but I digress... Played 1-3, World (My favorite), 64, Sunshine (favorite 3D Mario), the first "New" SMB, 3D Land, and multiple of the spin offs (a few of the karting games and RPGs, none of the sports ones, etc.) Plan on getting 3D World.
Donkey Kong: Played the original Country trilogy (I rather liked the third one), some of DK64 (was a bit too collectathony, even for me), and some of Returns, which I should buy and finish... Plan on getting Tropical Freeze.
Yoshi: Played Story and Island, great games, might get that new Yoshi game for the 3DS.
WarioWare/Land: Sadly, I've only ever played bits of WarioWare (a friend had the game) and none of the other Wario games.
Zelda: Pretty much every single one besides Minish Cap, Four Swords Adventures, Spirit Tracks, the two Oracle games, Zelda 2 (oh god), and Wind Waker. Do plan on getting Wind Waker HD and soaking it all in, getting A Link Between Worlds and whatever the new Zelda for the Wii U will be.
Kirby: Played a few of them, all really good fun, but the names escape me. I'd buy a 3D Kirby for sure.
Pokemon: Played gens 1 and 3, some of 4, kind of dropped off after that. X/Y has me interested in the series again, definitely looking to get one of them.
Metroid: I haven't played much of this sadly, and I don't really know where to start.
StarFox: See Metroid.
Kid Icarus: Have Uprising, haven't beat it, not too hard so much as I can't find myself wanting to play it, it is a good game though. Played the first level of the first game, now that one is ****ing hard.
Pikmin: One of the ones I'm about to get into trying, the wait for Pikmin 3 is getting hard.
F-Zero: Not sure if I'll ever try this one, it doesn't seem to be getting anything new any time soon and I'm already not a big fan of racing games.
Mother/EB: EarthBound is my absolute favorite RPG, and I don't tend to like RPGs.
Fire Emblem: Still putting this one off.
Ice Climber: Sadly no, even more sad seeing as they only have one bloody game.
R.O.B. Games: Nada, I may eventually get the actual R.O.B. just for the hell of it.
Game & Watch: Played some Game & Watch Gallery games on the GameBoy, good addicting little mini-games. I'm still trying to get a G&W Ball.
Animal Crossing: Recently got into this one with New Leaf. Why can't I put this game down?!
Wii Fit: Eh, no. I could do with losing a few pounds though...

Sonic: 1-3+K, Adventure 1 and 2, and Generations. Lost Worlds is looking pretty good too.
Metal Gear: Bit of an oddball case, never played any of the games but I'm somewhat of a fan. I know a bit of the lore and I enjoy reading about the games in general. Tried MGS4, but couldn't get into it very much, I'd love to get MGSV, but my PS3 has been dead for quite some time.
Mega Man: Another offender, I really need to try out some of his old games.

So that'd be 11/22, half of them isn't so bad. Now if they add any more franchises in Smash 4...

Well let me see if I have played them all.

Mario series: Oh yes. Who hasn't. Very famous
Donkey Kong series: Mostly played the Country series and played the N64 version
Legend of Zelda series: Definitely played most of them. They are awesome
Metroid series: Mostly played the handheld ones, the Prime series, and the Super Nintendo version
Yoshi: Only Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, and Yoshi's Story
Kirby series: Yes. Definitely played almost all
StarFox series: Own them all
Pokemon series: Played almost all the versions
EarthBound/Mother series: Only played Mother 3 and Earthbound, aka Mother 2.
F-Zero series: Only played the SNES version and the N64 version. It was fun.
Fire Emblem series: Only played Awakening. It was alright
Game & Watch series: I have played Game & Watch Galleries 3 and 4.
Ice Climber: I only played it for the GBA. It was fun
Kid Icarus series: Played all 3. Uprising seems to be the best so far.
Wario series: Land was fun, but Warioware series was alright.
Pikmin: Only played the 1st and 2nd. I so can't wait for the 3rd one
R.O.B. (StackUp/Gyromite): Oh god. Don't get me started with this one. The only time I played those games was at a friend's house.
Metal Gear Solid series: Only played the 2nd and 3rd. The series is by far my favorite.
Sonic series: Played alot of Sonic games. Couldn't get enough of him
Animal Crossing: Animal Crossing is loads of fun. Only played City Folk and New Leaf
Megaman series: Oh my god. I am a huge fan of Megaman. Do I need to explain which versions I played ? Played most of them
Wii Fit: Never played it
Hanenbow: Never played it either.

So yeah, I have played most of them, but I am not counting the Masterpieces in Brawl since they are timed. I must say, these game series were pretty worthwhile.

So far more people have played R.O.B.'s games than Wii Fit
I'm pretty sure 90% of anyone who calls themselves a "gamer" hasn't played Wii Fit. 60% of people who just casually play Smash probably haven't played it either. At least Sakurai is broadening the demographic, we'll have a load of new Smash players, everyone's moms. :troll:

Oooh about time a thread like this came up, I'll bite.

ANIMAL CROSSING: I did play on my friend's New Leaf for a bit but he threatened to evict me from his town after I talked about usurping him as mayor.
DONKEY KONG: Played a few of the Donkey Kong games on SNES and the 64 version.
EARTHBOUND/MOTHER: I have finished Mother 3 and it was a fantastic game.
F-ZERO: My only experience playing anything F-Zero would be in arcades. One of my gal-pals and I would be kind of silly and try playing the game with one person controlling the wheel while the other would handle the pedals.

FIRE EMBLEM: Finished 6,7, 1/11, and 13. Currently working on 3/12.
GAME & WATCH: No sir.
ICE CLIMBER: Little experience playing it on a friend's Ambassador 3DS. Rage quit after two minutes.
KID ICARUS: Played on the same friend's Ambassador 3DS but stopped because we had to go grocery shopping or something?

KIRBY: Aww yeah, I think the only Kirby games I haven't played are the newest ones and the obscure pinball ones. And yes I've played Tilt' N' Tumble and it was a blast. Edit: Oh, and Crystal Shards was the BEES KNEES.
MARIO: Played Mario ever since the NES days though I still need to beat both Galaxies. Mario 2 on the GBA was actually the first one I've ever beaten by myself, then it all turned out to be a dream and I was slightly pissed as a 10-year old.
Incidentally in my Digi-tools class freshman year in high school (Required by everyone to take) I was already experienced with Microsoft Office, which covered the first half of the class, and really didn't need to be there. So the teacher's assistant and I beat Mario 3 on an emulator while people were learning how to use Word, PowerPoint, etc.
MEGAMAN: MegaMan 3 was tough and I'm planning on playing MegaMan 2 on VC soon.
METAL GEAR: Nope, would love to play them though, the newest one they announced looks awesome!

METROID: Most certainly, I've only beaten most of the 2-D games aside from Metroid II as well as Other M and Hunters. But as for the Prime series I rage quit at the Ridley boss fight in Prime I and had to fly back to Washington as the university term ended. (I swear he gets stronger/ faster once his health gets down to a certain point... And the disc is over in Michigan soooo...)
ROBOT (GYROMITE/STACK UP): If I can find the games as well a R.O.B., I can hook up my NES and try it out. I've seen the AVGN review and it looked rage-inducing.
PIKMIN: Never played the games but would love to when possible.
POKÉMON: Haven't missed a single main title. The meta change from Gen IV to Gen V was a staggering *****, I can't even imagine how much it'll change once Gen VI comes in... Though trying to find people to play competitively can be such a hassle and even some of the times they're just straight up hackers. Let's just say my Sunny Day team had to deal with a hacked Sunny Day team where the Venasaur could use Spore... I don't even know how that happens seeing as the Nintendo Wi-Fi has some sort of legality checker.

SONIC: Played very few Sonic games.
STAR FOX: Played a bit of Star Fox DS but other than that I haven't had much exposure to the series.
WARIO (WARE/LAND): Wario's Gold Rush count?
WII FIT: I'd rather exercise outside...

YOSHI: Played Yoshi's story with some random kid I met on a cruise. That's about it.
ZELDA: Have beaten almost all Zelda games save Link's Awakening, Ages, and Four Swords. Zelda II was by far the hardest and one of the most relentless games I've played (not as relentless as Punch-Out or TMNT though, good ****ing god are those games hard). My roommate and I beat it over Thanksgiving break freshman year in college. We eventually got to a point where we were mercilessly getting pwn'ed by one particular dungeon and had to find a way to exploit the game, luckily we found a room with falling, stacking blocks and a monster that floats across the screen. We manipulated the blocks where Link's sword would be level with the infinitely spawning monster and proceeded to continuously tap the B button for an hour and fifteen minutes. Of course we rotated once in awhile and watched some YouTube to boot but even then after maxing out all the levels the rest of the game was still tough as ****. /rant.

Mario: Huh? What's a Mario...?
Zelda: Hell yeah! Majora's Mask is my absolute favorite Zelda game!
DK: Only the SNES ones. Not a huge fan but I do like playing Diddy in Brawl.
Yoshi: Yes, Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story. Can't wait for Yoshi's New Island!

Pokémon: Played since Blue version.
Kirby: Super Star. Grappler Kirby. Yes.
Earthbound: Only many years after it was released. I played Mother 3 before Earthbound.
Pikmin: Sorry Olimar, you're just not interesting enough for me...

F-Zero: Had the SNES one...was a disappointing game but I frikkin' love Captain Falcon!
Animal Crossing: Currently addicted to New Leaf! I can quit anytime I want! ...Okay not really. This game is ruining my real life.
Star Fox: Played the SNES one and Star Fox Adventures. Have yet to play Star Fox 64.
Metroid: Super Metroid, Fusion, Zero Mission, Metroid Prime. I want to play Other M just to see how bad it is though.
Wario: Warioware games are great but I think Wario Land and Wario's Woods are where it's at!

Ice Climber: Yes, but I wish there was chain-grabbing in the original NES game...
Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Will probably get Awakening when I get the moolah.
Kid Icarus: Only the hard as hell NES game.
Wii Fit: Borrowed it from a friend for a week. It's actually pretty fun!

Game & Watch: Played some of the Game & Watch Gallery games on Game Boy Color long ago.
ROB: After seeing AVGN review ROB, I don't think I ever want to play a ROB game.
Metal Gear: MGS3 is in my top 10 list of all-time best games.
Sonic: Actually, Fun Fact: Sonic 2 on Genesis was the first game I ever played.
Mega Man: My first Mega Man game was Mega Man X4. It's still my favorite Mega Man game and the original NES titles are too tough for me!

Other than any of the NES games involving R.O.B. and the joke that is Wii Fit, yes I've played every franchise represented in smash. I did play Mario Kart DS which contained R.O.B. at least.

Mario: I've played every mainline Mario except for the 3DS ones, most of the Mario RPGs (all of them except PiT and Dream Team), all the Mario Kart games other than 7, a few Mario Party games but I only spent a lot of time with 1, and several other miscellaneous titles (Mario is Missing, Luigi's Mansion, Fortune Street, etc.).
DK: I've played the original trilogy (the third game only in G&W gallery format), the country trilogy, DK64, DK94, and DKCR. I played a bit of Mario vs DK but didn't enjoy it nearly as much as DK94.
Zelda: I've played every real (not CDi) Zelda game other than Link's Crossbow Training, the four sword mingame in the GBA lttp, and Spirit Tracks.
Metroid: I've played the prime trilogy, Super Metroid, and sadly I suffered through Other M.
Yoshi: I played Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, and Yoshi's Island DS.
Star Fox: I've only actually completed 64, Assault, and Command, but I've played every Star Fox game to some extent.
Kirby: I've played and beaten the Dream Land trilogy, adventure, super star, and 64. I didn't play any of the modern ones, but I watched someone play epic yarn and fell asleep while doing so if that counts (it looked so easy that I'm not sure watching is different from playing).
Pokemon: I've played the entire mainline handheld series, both stadiums, colosseum, xd, and snap. I also played some Wiiware Pokemon game, rumble or something like that; the exact title escapes me.

Mother: I've played the full trilogy, the third obviously with the help of the translation patch.
F-Zero: I've played the original only a little bit, X enough to play all the tracks, and GX quite a bit. GX is the best racing game ever made by a ridiculously huge margin, but I was very unimpressed by the other F-Zero games so I kinda view this series as a one-hit wonder.
Ice Climber: Yeah, I played it and made it to mountain 10 or something in that area. It wasn't really a good game at all.
Fire Emblem: I haven't played much. I beat 9 and 10 and loved them to death, but when I went back to play the older ones, well, I made it about halfway through three before I was quite sure the game wasn't really good at all and was incredibly boring not to mention very easy if you abused the very poor balance (Marth's girlfriend makes Haar look balanced!). I haven't touched the series since.
Game and Watch: I played a whole lot of G&W Gallery 2 and 3. Fittingly for my playstyle, turtle bridge is by far my favorite G&W game too!

Wario: I've barely played this series. I beat the original Wario Land 100% and played a bit of 4 (but the game was more of an "investment" time-wise than I wanted to sink into a game so I only really played like 2 levels). I haven't played nor do I intend to play any WarioWare games.
Kid Icarus: I played the original but only a few levels; I really didn't enjoy it that much. I haven't played the GB one or uprising.
Pikmin: I beat 1 and never played 2. I plan to get 3 at launch.
Metal Gear: I made it kinda far I think in the original but didn't really like it (the keycard juggle game was pretty stupid and was basically the whole game), I played a bit of the non-canon Snake's Revenge, and I've beaten the Twin Snakes.
Sonic: I've played the original trilogy (including &Knuckles), CD, Adventure 1 and 2, Heroes, most of Sonic's story in 06 (ugh), Secret Rings, too much of the Wii version of Unleashed (a little more than half the game), boh episodes of 4, and Generations. I've also played a few of the awful side games like Chronicles, the fighters, Sonic R, labyrinth, etc.; I'm quite convinced at this point that every non-mainline Sonic game is really, really bad (to be fair, labrinth did have charm).
R.O.B.: Does Mario Kart DS count? If it doesn't, then no. I've actually put my hand on a R.O.B. unit before (that a local smasher who mained R.O.B. owned); that's probably more than most people here can claim.

Animal Crossing: I played the GC version for a bit; this style of game isn't really my cup of tea.
Mega Man: I've played and beaten 1-6, 9, 10, X1-X3, and Zero 1 and 2 and enjoyed every game on that list. I also played about half a stage of 7 before concluding the game was unplayable if that's worth anything.
Wii Fit: Uh, no. I weigh under 160 lbs and am 6'4" tall; I'm not in the target market.

Being a game collector it would be too expansive to list everything but basics are enough:

Mario: Oh boy, if I listed every game I've played in this serious I could be here all night hell even talking about which of them I own. Though an interesting bit of trivia, my first game that technically feature 'Mario' was the Atari 2600 port of the original Donkey Kong, crying out loud that makes me feel old.
Donkey Kong: As listed above Donkey Kong for the 2600 was my first DK game, I've played most games in the series expect for the most recent ones expect of the Wii and 3DS ones.
WarioWare/Land: The most exposure I had to this game was borrowing the original GB game from a friend and Wario Land 4 after that whole price reduction thing with the 3DS some time back.
Zelda: I own every game in the series in it's original format expect for the four swords adventures, Minish Cap, and the two GBC games. Don't currently have OOT in N64 format due to an moving accident but close enough.
Kirby: I have the vast majority of the series expect for some of the more recent games.
Pokemon: Was an early fan of the series through the first two generation since that time I've played very little of them, though X and Y might peak my interest.
Metroid: I own pretty much all the games in the series expect for the three Prime games right now.
StarFox: Played the original and N64.
Kid Icarus: Only played the original like around the time Brawl came out. Also own Uprising that I really should get back to someday.
Pikmin: Never played any of the games.
F-Zero: This series has always been kind under the radar for me.
Mother/EB: I've only played through some of Earthbound, just recently got it for the Wii U to give it another try.
Fire Emblem: I wish I had the opporunity to touch on the series more then I have, though Radiant Dawn and Awakening are among my favorite games now.
Ice Climber: I've played the game... don't care for it much it was a fairly simple game that only remained interesting for a few minutes.
R.O.B. Games: ROB was kind of already out of the picture when I got my NES. I didn't really even know about it till yars later.
Game & Watch: I'm getting old but I'm not quite that old, though I do recall seeing a few in stores when I was very young. Never really tired the gallery games.
Animal Crossing: I bought New Leaf due to the hype on Tumblr... didn't last long for me.
Wii Fit: I actually did buy this and I used to regularly use it, but when I moved into an apartment it was too noisy to use for most things so I had to stop using it.
Sonic: Yea... my interest in the series mostly dropped off during the Genesis era. Though I did play Adventures 2
Metal Gear: Never got into it, not a huge fan of the genre
Mega Man: Oh gees... I have so many of these games between classic, x, and battle network it's a bit crazy.

I am glad someone acknowledged the current lists barely touch upon all of the franchises represented in Smash. Playing a game from each one would be quite a commitment.

Thanks!

As a hidden rule, a lot of people tend to consider Nintendo games represented in SSB as the TRUE Nintendo games... so I think it's pretty effed up to brush off those that ARE represented, but just not as playable.
(Although bringing up Sticker franchises would be an exhausting chore, so you'll have to forgive me for that, lol)

(But for the sake of a quick forum question, I guess it's alright to go with just the playable ones... I guess)

First place I heard of any other franchises besides Donkey Kong was from smash bros 64.
I'm currently playing Earthbound for the first time (30 hours in holy crap this game is long!) and looking for a way to play the obscure assist trophy games like Takamaru's Castle and Drill Dozer.
I know nothing about Fire Emblem, Metal Gear or Pikmin yet and I've only tried Animal Crossing and F-Zero and other franchises from my friends.
I really only buy the Zelda and Starfox games, or the wacky titles like Earthbound/Mother and Warioware (or Chibi Robo!). For the most part my gaming collection is composed of Fighters. I still think smash is the best fighter though. I was never really drawn to the series because of the character's, because I didn't know any of them. I was pulled in by the uniqueness of smash and it's amazing gameplay.

This is fun...

Animal Crossing: I owned Wild World, and played it for a little while, but I haven't touched the series since.
Donkey Kong: Terrible at the old arcade games, but the DKC trilogy on SNES are some of my favorite games.
EarthBound: Sadly, no.
F-Zero: The only one I've spent much time with is F-Zero GX, which was a lot of fun.
Fire Emblem: Never touched a single FE game.
Game & Watch: I used to have a bunch of Tiger Electronics LCD games, but never specifically a Game & Watch one.
Ice Climber: It's just the one game, right? Haven't played it.
Kid Icarus: I've played the original once or twice, but I REALLY love Uprising.
Kirby: Kirby's Adventure was my favorite NES game as a kid, and I love Super Star and Epic Yarn as well.
Mario: Of course. Favorite is a toss-up between World and 64. If we're counting spinoffs, Thousand-Year Door may be my favorite.
Mega Man: I've played every game in the classic series, and a few of the X games, but I've never beaten one. Mega Man was more my brother's jam than mine.
Metal Gear: Tried Metal Gear Solid, and wanted to finish it, but had to return it to my friend.
Metroid: Prime was my introduction to the series. One of my favorites now. And I'll go ahead and admit that I kinda liked Other M.
R.O.B.: Nope.
Pikmin: Just the first one, which I'm terrible at.
Pokemon: Never been my thing. Tried the originals and the first Stadium game, but I just can't get into that world at all.
Sonic: All-time favorite series. I was a Genesis kid growing up, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favorite game.
Star Fox: A little. Messed around with the original and 64. Strangely, I've owned Assault for years and never played it.
Wario: No. Again, my brother loved the Wario Land games. Neither of us have ever played WarioWare, though.
Wii Fit: My girlfriend had it in college. I was pretty good at the ski jump.
Yoshi: I remember renting Yoshi's Cookie as a kid, if that counts. Other than that, no.
Zelda: Every console title, and a few handhelds. My favorite is probably Wind Waker., but honestly I like all of them.

Assist Trophy Version!
Advance Wars: Nope. Always wanted to give it shot. I remember people LOVED that first GBA one.
Custom Robo: No. My brother loved the GCN one, though.
Devil World: Nope.
Diagasso! Band Brothers: No. I'm still not sure what it even is.
Drill Dozer: Not even sure what it is. Is it a puzzle game?
Excitebike: I played the arcade version in a bar last year! I wasn't very good, but maybe it was just the beer.
Golden Sun: I played half the first one, then lost it. Shame, I really liked it.
Kuru Kuru Kururin: No...
Nintendogs: I have a Nintendog. Her name is Sally and she's a sweetheart.
Punch-Out!!: I've played the original arcade title and Wii one. Not a single one in between, somehow. I've only eaten the bread in the Punch-Out sandwich.
SimCity: Loved it as a kid, but mostly just for knocking buildings over with tornadoes and stuff. I never had
the patience to get good at it.
Sin & Punishment: The first one when it came to Virtual Console. Rail shooters aren't my thing.
Starfy: No. I think I'd like it, though. Seems like my kind of game.
Tingle: No, but I've played Balloon Fight. So I'll count it.

That is really hard to imagine. The original Mario Bros. is one of my earliest memories. It's like reading about those children who are socially isolated until they are 8 years old and then grow up to be engineers.

ANIMAL CROSSING: I'm not really big on the "casual" games, but I'm a huge fan of this series (which I've followed since the GameCube release) and I own every installment in the series, and have poured hundreds of hours into them
DONKEY KONG: I have a natural affinity for this series. Returns and the first two arcade games are notable favorites of mine. Oh, and Don-Key. Kawn-ga. HUA!
EARTHBOUND/MOTHER: I've never touched these, and haven't really had the interest in doing so, mostly because I don't want to deal with region-based stuff.. I'd consider picking up Mother 2 on the VC if I actually had a Wii U.
F-ZERO: I have GX. It's a good game, but nothing I'd consider special. Still better than Mario Kart though.

FIRE EMBLEM: I've played the first few minutes of Awakening. That's it.
GAME & WATCH: Betraying my avatar, I've only played Manhole. Which is an amazing game, by the way.
ICE CLIMBER: Yes. A very unpolished game, as most people who've played it would agree. I really want them to reboot this IP since I love the concept, but was awfully let down by the execution.
KID ICARUS: Never played this, or had any interest in doing so.

KIRBY: I'm a big fan of the series. Regardless of their (lack of) difficulty, the Kirby games are excellent, polished platformers. Amazing Mirror, Return to Dreamland, and Canvas Curse rank among my favorites in the series.
MARIO: Of course. I prefer the 3D games to the sidescrollers, but they're all of exceptional quality. The first two Paper Mario games are my favorites, followed by 64DS and Sunshine. Oh, and unpopular opinion: I like SMB2 more than SMB3.
MEGAMAN: Honestly, no. And I've no real interest in playing it, though I'd give it a try if a Megaman game suddenly appeared in my lap.
METAL GEAR: I like this series. MGS4 is my favorite, though I know many fans would tear me apart for saying that.

METROID: I have some experience with this series, but I never really took to it. I've played a bit of the NES original and Fusion.
ROBOT (GYROMITE/STACK UP): No. R.O.B. is a bro, though.
PIKMIN: Played a bit of Pikmin 1. Not my kind of thing.
POKÉMON: Love this series. Not too excited for X/Y though. Crystal, Emerald, and BW(1) are my favorites in the main series, but I am a big fan of many of the spinoffs, including the (first two) installments of the Mystery Dungeon series, Pokémon Snap, and Pokémon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire.

SONIC: Yes. I'm a general fan of the series, my favorites being the Adventure games. Have been sort of "away" from the series since Unleashed, however. I like the spinoffs more than the main series sometimes. Battle was great, Riders is a fun racing series, and the All-Stars Racing games have usurped Mario Kart as my racer of choice.
STAR FOX: I've only played Assault. Love the multiplayer. Can't say I liked anything else.
WARIO (WARE/LAND): I've never played Wario Ware. Wario Land, however, is awesome.
WII FIT: Nope.

YOSHI: Yoshi's Island is one of my favorite platformers of all time. Of all time. Story is pretty good. Touch n' Go was meh. Island DS was a good sequel toSMW2, but I liked the first one better. I want to play Topsy-Turvy/Universal Gravitation.
ZELDA: I like it, but I'm not ga-ga over it and I wouldn't consider myself a fanatic. Twilight Princess is my favorite, much as I know its flaws. I also like Wind Waker and Minish Cap a lot, and Spirit Tracks is one of my more memorable DS games, so I was happy to see it's getting a stage.

Guess you can say I'm a little inexperienced when it comes to Nintendo games. On the flipside, I'm pretty well-versed in the company and its various IPs, and I'm a big fan of some of its smaller series.

Discovering that user BridgesWithTurtles has never played Turtle Bridge just breaks my heart. My fond memories of Turtle Bridge only further strengthen the joy I get in spamming G&W's bair and in some ways help me reach the zenith of the G&W metagame. In Turtle Bridge you jump across turtles while balancing survival and racking up points. In Brawl you spam turtles while balancing survival and racking damage. In both games you can fail a few times too; G&W has three stocks in both games so your connection to the turtles only needs to be mostly perfect, not completely perfect, to win with G&W. This is especially helpful in the Snake match-up; his attacks that hit everywhere and kill you super easily are like the surface of the water. You have to use that little bit of the turtle that reaches out of that water to keep yourself alive, and then you can thread the needle and find gaming success.

METAL GEAR: I've....Never actually played this series.... I need to....

ELECTROPLANKTON: *laughs* Heck no.

WII FIT: Nope. Maybe if I did I could lose some weight... Might wanna buy that...

MEGAMAN: Of course!

So I've played every series aside from Game & Watch, Metal Gear, Gyromite, Electroplankton and Wii Fit. Not bad if I do say so myself.
