Have an idea about something new

Hey all. Last night I was playing against some CPU's, just for the hell of it, and I thought to myself "Hey, I wonder if there is anyway to manipulate the CPU difficulty to be harder"

and with that being said, here is my idea:

Is there a possible way to increase CPU difficulty to reflect off of today's meta-game?

Think about this for a minute. Imagine changing the physics of Ice Climbers to know how to de-sync and Chain grab people to death. Imagine playing a Falco that knows how to properly use double lasers and phantasm. How about getting practice against a metaknight that knows how to properly juggle, or snake who knows how to effectively dacus across stages, increasing all computer abilities to edge guard you better, and things of that sort. Does anyone think this may be possible? I know it may be difficult, but enabling a chance to actually practice against tatics that you have to fight every time you enter a tournament when you want would be unbelievably good for the community.

That sounds possible, but it would require coding. How much of that is possible...I'm not entirely sure. But I bet a few of those could work with proper coding...

I can't remember how long ago it was, but there was a thread on AI and manipulating it, and I believe it was Dantarion who had succeeded in making a slightly more difficult AI who responded better to certain actions.

What I would like to see is computers using perfect DI to avoid combos and achieve the greatest survivability possible. This, along with better recovering tactics would make them much more difficult to defeat.

This would be great. This would really help people who don't have real people to play except online but don't want the lag just before a tourney. I REALLY want this.

yeah there's already a thread that already talks about this but i would hope for a stronger AI brawl+ compatible

AI manipulation thread
Yeah it's being worked progress is slow however it is coming along nicely
And then there's this

and that's about it though.
It could be worked on a bit harder to be fair, like adding a combination of both threads into one project. Also, would it be more difficult to actually just program actions to increase difficulty? In stead of adaptation, rather program each CPU to use different default functions?

confirmed. Sending Supplies.
If someone were to make this possible, I would have a lot more practice on my hands. But whoever takes the time to attempt this would have to keep in mind to try to make the lower tier characters at least try to compete with the higher tiers. Falcon and Ganon still have some cool follow-ups and techniques that the CPUs currently don't use.
