I have a confession to make. It pains me to have to say this, but I can deny the fact no longer! No longer will I be ashamed of that which brings me happiness!

I...love Harvest Moon games. There, I said it. But, alas, it's been a good while since one has really thrilled me. I loved HM64 and HM:BTN, and I could put hours upon hours into those games even today. But, ever since the start of the last console generation, there's been a horrible drought of good Harvest Moon games (Magical Melody being an exception, IMO). I eagerly await the day when I can once again put shovel to earth, milk me a few cows, and woo me a lady friend.

Anyone else out there love a good romp of digital farming as much as I do?

I only played the one for GBA, but I had to stop, because it started to control my life. You know that you are too into a game when you are trying to figure out ways to afford that upgrade on the hammer when you are supposed to be paying attention in class.

I still do have good memories, though.

I loved the one on the Nintendo 64. In fact, my college age preppy sister plays her game all the time for....no reason. She's accomplished everything you can do....I have no idea why she continues to play?

That's true. Like, after you get everything, it feels anti-climactic.

I was addicted to HM64 when I was younger... I remember getting up at 3 am to play and went back to bed at 5 so no one knew I was playing. Or I'd get up and play and when my parents caught me I'd say I couldn't sleep... Silly me. Good old days though. I spent the first year or so going into the forest and picking up and selling everything I could hold. Every day. I have no idea how that captivated my attention, but it did. Then I went on to farming and such.
